Kauai beach resort

Room could use some touch ups and needs to have a dustpan available. But overall very happy with our stay.

Beautiful facility

Beautiful resort & central location on the island

We walked into a dirty unit but the host responded quickly and had the cleaning staff come in while we gave them space for the evening to clean it. It’s a bit run down but it did the trick as we didn’t spend a lot of time there. Great location on the island! The resort property was beautiful and great for sunrise! If you aren’t looking for luxury, this is a good spot.

Thanks for your review. I am glad that you had a good time at my unit and the resort. Sorry, the unit looked a bit run down. We have been looking for new furniture for a quick some time and finally right after your departure, we replaced the majority of the old furniture and the unit looks 10 times better than before. Hopefully, you will revisit us and fell the difference.

Perfect property for a Kauai visit
Posted Jan. 28, 2024 on HomeAwayWe enjoyed the proximity to the pools and ocean. We ate at all the restaurants, enjoyed spa appointments, used the fitness facilities and generally used everything the property had to offer.

Underwhelmed and disappointed
Posted Jan. 12, 2024 on HomeAwayI booked this place on VRBO after checking the 4.5 ratings and low rental price. However the property is very old, outdated and very basic. This is not even 3.5 star property. The room was small and also outdated. There was rust on appliances and doors. The host provided a small bottle of shampoo and body wash. They offered $10 refund for missing conditioner and body lotion. Guests are supposed to bring their own toiletries and figure out how to use bath towels and beach towels during the entire stay as there is no towel exchange provided without extra fees. Also no cleaning service is very inconvenient. My advice: spend extra $$ and stay at better resorts. Else be prepared to be underwhelmed!

First I want to thank you for visiting Kauai and staying in our room at the lovely Kauai Beach Resort that greets thousands of happy vacationers worldwide every year. I feel sorry that you don't like the room and site.
A small number of rooms here are owned by private individuals while the rest are by the resort. The settings across most of the rooms have the same or similar look and feel. However, there is one big difference: rooms owned by the resort have daily maid services while privately owned ones that are offered as the bnb do not. Our listing on VRBO, and the booking confirmation letter that we sent to you via VRBO platform, clearly said there is no daily maid service and no daily towel change, coffee/tea bag, etc. Because of that, these privately owned units usually offer a much lower daily rate compared to that from the resort.
If you read our listing or the confirmation letter in a bit more detail, you should have learned that daily maid and towel changes are not included. TBH, don't book/stay in any BnB units again because none of them would offer daily maid services!
Without additional charges, we did offer you more towels when asked.
BTW, we credited you $50, not $10, hoping to make you feel better for the fact that you realized there was no daily maid only after you had checked in but not before or at the booking time. We paid for your negligence!

Great place
Posted Sep. 22, 2023 on HomeAwayGreat place to stay. Location on the island was perfect. We were at the midway point on the island so driving time to areas of interest were very manageable. Highly recommend staying here.
