Nous avons adorĂ© la villa .. la vue sur l’ocĂ©an Ă©tait magnifique . La villa Ă©tait grande et avec toutes les commodites . La piscine .. super agrĂ©able par une belle journĂ©e chaude . Je recommande a tous ceux qui veulent habiter sur le bord de l’eau mais pas dans la frĂ©nĂ©sie de NazarĂ© .

Fantastic place

We were very happy here. The house is great as per the posting. However we were also very impressed with the beach and town. Lots of wonderful restaurants and not too busy. Close enough to various other interesting places for day trips. Carlos was very nice. Definitely recommend.

Carlos and his house were both ideal. He is gracious, responsive, kind, and professional. The house had everything we could need. We have never stayed in a place so well appointed. The location and views were hard to leave. For a family of four, we loved the decks, pool, and pool table. Its a great location to relax, walk to town, surf, or explore the region. We are a family of five having just returned from a wonderful holiday. The villa was modern having everything you could possibly need and was immaculately presented. Unfortunately, the photos do not do it justice. There are sea views from every window, not to mention the amazing sunsets! The host Carlos was very welcoming and was available to contact if needed. A big thank you Carlos. We would definitely consider returning at some point in the future.

Wonderful apartment with the most amazing views from the pool deck

We just returned from a week at this stunning apartment, which is situated overlooking the beautiful praia de blanca and Lourinha. The apartment was so well presented, with everything we would wish for a great stress free family holiday. Carlos was so friendly and always available to give advise, highly recommend!

Fantastic Property - Excellent Hosts!

Casas da Arriba is a fantastic property. My family and I had a really great restful 10 days there. Excellent location, beautiful property with clean pool and everything you'd want. Carlos was extremely welcoming and helpful. Very easy to contact and he helped with every enquiry we had, which we much appreciated. I would highly recommend this property, locatyion and host. Sensationelle Aussicht

Ein wunderschönes Haus, das keine WĂŒnsche offen lĂ€sst. Carlos ist jeder Zeit erreichbar und kĂŒmmert sich sehr um seine GĂ€ste. Das Haus war sauber, alles da was man als Selbstversorger braucht. Pool und Billard sind natĂŒrlich mit Kindern hilfreich. Das absolute Highlight ist aber natĂŒrlich der sensationelle Blick aufs Meer aus allen Zimmern. Der Ort ist klein und gemĂŒtlich, perfekt fĂŒr einen entspannten Urlaub. Trotz Corona, perfektes Urlaubserlebnis!

Hidden Gem

To be fair I was a little dubious as to the location - Atlantic coast as opposed to the Algarve but my doubts were completely wrong. We stayed for 10 days in August and the temperature ranged from 25 to 32°C each day. You do get a bit of sea mist from time to time but for me it adds to the overall experience of Praia da Areia Branca. The village has a number of restaurants and bars which cover a range of cuisines. If you have a car then you will be able to explore the area. If you don't then a taxi trip to Lourinhã is easy to arrange for grocery shops if you are self catering. Casas da Arriba is a beautiful property. Modern throughout with high quality fittings and fixtures. The overall sense is one of understated luxury. The photos posted on the site do not do it credit. The location of the villa gives great views over the coast looking to the south and the peninsular at Peniche is also visible to the north. Finally I have to say a few words about Carlos. Nothing was too much. He was always available at the end of the phone or text and always had a solution for anything that arose - not that much did! He provided us with the number of a local English speaking taxi driver - Mr Ramiro. He was able to recommend restaurants and on our first day even gave us a lift back from the supermarket after a chance meeting there. Carlos is a genuine person and I can only say Muito Obrigado Carlos

The villa is exceptionally well equipped, furnished and decorated throughout. It is beautifully clean and modern and has a real luxury feel. The pool is great and the sitting area and barbecue are also excellent. The position of the villa provides a nice view down to the main beach, although at this time there is some building going on that interferes with the view a little. The main beach is fantastic, not too crowded, nice sand and great waves every day for bodyboarding. The second closer beach is really beautiful and secluded but be ware that there are some rocks in the sea that make it unsuitable for bodyboarding. Great place to watch the sun go down. Couple of good restaurants in the village and supermarkets only a few mins away. There isn't a huge amount to do in the area but we were more than happy to spend time relaxing at the very comfortable villa and playing in the sea at the great beach. The owner, Carlos, is very warm and welcoming. I have given this review 5 stars, I would knock off half a star just because there was some building work around the villa that temporarily detracts a little from the experience. Many thanks Carlos for the use of your exceptional villa.

Fabulous visit to Praia da Areia Branca

Our family had a wonderful stay in Praia da Areia Branca. This villa is beautiful. Very spacious 3 bedroom 3 bath villa with amazing views of the Atlantic ocean and beach. The sea village has several great restaurants overlooking the water. It is a quiet community but close to so many wonderful cities and towns to visit. We drove to Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais, Peniche, Obidos and Caldas. Great day trips and we were back to relax by the beautiful pool before dinner each night. We would highly recommend this villa. Carlos is a wonderful host and was just a phone call away. We will be back!!
