Great location- we walked everywhere; comfortable apt with 3 full bathrooms; extremely responsive management: Jaoa was exceptional at providing helpful info- I felt like he and his wife were my own travel agents! I so appreciated not only his offering info but also the openness to ask my many questions. Exceptional communication. Just a couple of practical items to note- as stated in the listing, it is a walk up so keep this in mind; also stated that the front facing bedrooms can be noisy, but it must vary bc we had no problems on that side of the apt; we did notice an odor perhaps of garbage/sewer (?) as we entered the apt, and while it was not solved, Jaoa was diligent trying to fix it. It did detract a bit from our experience, but ours was a short stay and was not a deal breaker. I think Lisbon has a sewer issue in general bc you often smell it walking around so likely had to do with that. Jaoa also was helpful in organizing a day trip to Sintra with guide Bruno who was excellent- very personable, reliable/punctual, gave us just the right amount of local info/history as we drove. Something to note if you do a tour is to book all entrance tickets ahead of time to your sites as we found one we did not book ahead was sold out which was disappointing.

Good location, attentive hosts

Gaspar was very attentive, made check- in process easy and informative. Even brought extra towels for our party of 8 after a day of heavy rain! Apartment was clean and inviting, just be ready to walk up a few flights of stairs to get there. Great location for young travelers who enjoy a vibrabt nightlife as there are many bars close by. Might be a bit noisy on the weekend nights for young families and older travelers, although rooms away from main street were pretty quiet.

A great place right in the middle of everything

We had the best time staying here. Great, simple rooms. A perfect common area for all of us to share. And most importantly for us, central to EVERYTHING. We walked every day to all our destinations and this apartment made that easy. A mere steps from bars, restaurants, and groceries, it worked out perfectly for us first-time visitors to Lisbon. Additionally, Fernando, who checked us into the building, was so helpful and friendly and gave us great recommendations for the neighborhood. The building is on a very popular bar street that's full of life late into the evening so be sure that's something you're looking for.

Lisbon stay

The accommodations were comfortable for 7 of us without using a couch. With that said the communication with Tomas was always quick and he was very responsive. However the apartment needs serious attention to certain issues: black mold in all of the bathroom showers, pooling water in all of the showers with water that sits in the drains, sewerage odor in apartment and windows need to be kept open. Water was left in the dishwasher. Upon calling Tomas he tried to be responsive however these are issues that cannot be taken care of quickly. Still yet to hear back from Joao host
