The apartment was beautifully designed — a perfect blend of old architectural charm and modern comfort. We really appreciated the host’s excellent communication and thoughtful recommendations, including the contact details for a personal chef who made a lovely dinner for us. While there’s a bar below that adds a bit of noise in the evening, it was quite manageable and quiet once the bar closed. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and are already recommending this place to our friends!

Great location

Great location to explore Lisbon. Bruno was very helpful throughout the trip with our questions. gave us a great introduction to the Deco Gem. The beds were comfortable and it had a great living area to relax in after a busy day. As noted in other reviews, their is a new bar open below the apartment that is loud at night. We came prepared with earplugs and sound machines and were fine.

Cool and spacious apartment in a great area

We loved our stay in this roomy and fun apartment! Checkin was fantastic with all details explained and great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Tons of restaurants right down the street and a fun bar right below. We stayed over a weekend and could hear the bar but at 1100 the music stopped and it was never bothersome. And if you like beer the bar was fantastic! Lots of yummy choices. Also really close to the TimeOut Food Hall. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to all our friends!

This location was truly amazing. Perfect. If you are over 6 feet tall only 1 of the rooms will not work for as one room has a low ceiling in the hall. No problem for me I had to put my tall kids in the main room. :)

Wonderful!

Our stay could not have been better! Our host, William, was very kind and helpful, the location was perfect and, the apartment was awesome - very clean and huuuuge! Being so close to the Metro/Train Station and TimeOut Market is a real bonus. The Bica Funicular is also steps away. Using the public transport is easy and convenient. Lisbon is such a vibrant, beautiful city with so much to do but it is easy to get away if you want. Ferry to Calcihas, up to Cristo Rei to see great views of Libson, and grab a drink at Porto Final. Alfama is so interesting to walk, eat, drink in. And, the hills of Bairro Alto are a must see/walk about. Bear in mind that Libson is a city of hills so bring comfortable shoes. Sintra and Cascais are great day trips. I would definitely stay with GEM again!
