Fantastic hotel, with great staff, brilliant, clean and functional rooms. The rooftop bar is good if you like that kind of thing. Breakfast was included in my package and was really good with lots of choice. They could however do with multiple latte machines, the wait is a bit long. TV channels, radio, films etc were an unexpected treat. I love this place and will be back.

Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The rooftop bar was amazing. The vibes are great. Rooms was a little small but it was fine. Room also smelled heavily like perfume, but as we aired it out after a day, it was fine. Would stay again!

Staff were rude and unpleasant from first interaction. Unorganized and appeared to be under-trained. They forced us to move to a different room for the final night of our stay stating they were “overbooked”. We had to pack and move on extremely short notice.

Clean property, comfortable beds, and really cool decor. It’s in a nice, clean, non-touristy area so you really get to appreciate how the locals live, but it is walking distance to all of the tourist spots

The staff was welcoming. I love the decor. The food in the hotel wasn't that good but there's plenty to eat in the vicinity. There's no gym but I walked so much I got plenty of exercise with all the steep hills in Lisbon. I would stay again.

Mama loves you. And I loved Mama.

Great hotel in a central location but away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown tourist area of Lisboa. Nearby metro stations, or a nice 20 minute stroll, take you into the heart of Lisboa’s old town area. Whilst Mama has a colourful and hip vibe (enjoy the rooftop and restaurant) the room had a peaceful, quietness after a busy days exploring the city and beyond. Useful things to note… there’s a supermarket nearby, the room comes with a safe and a fridge, 24/7 reception and it’s a 15 minute by taxi to the airport for those early hours return flights. Lisboa was an excellent place to visit and I would recommend Mama, especially to fellow solo travellers and couples.

We always love to stay in Mama Shelter hotels. This one was no exception. Friendly staff (in most part), nice decor, great location. The roof top was amazing! Just wish they would not close the entire roof top because of a large group event......Otherwise very happy with our visit.
