I stayed here for one night before my flight back to Canada and everything was as expected. My balcony was huge with an incredible view, which was the highlight of the room. It was very nice to have such a spectacular view to remember my last day in Lisbon. The staff was super nice also.

This is only the second time in my life, and across multiple countries, that I have truly regretted having to leave a hotel stay. From the moment we walking in the lobby, to the moment we left, there was something special about SANA Rex Hotel, Lisbon. The reception was above and beyond as the staff speak multiple languages and are ready and willing to help you into your room or even upgrade if possible! The room itself was quiet, clean, and had everything you might need. The bathroom even had marble in it! The hotel, like Lisbon itself is seasoned, cosmopolitan, and very regal. It combines modern technology (the SANA App) with time-honored personalized service the Hospitality Industry every where should strive to match! Location? You are adjacent to Edward IV park, which offers a stunning view down to the water and beautiful walk, all the way down to the major town square, also on the water. If you need busses or Uber/Taxi, literally right outside and in front of the hotel is all you could need! However, hands down our favorite part of the hotel stay was the dining and top notch service put on by Ricardo and his associate Ms. Davis. You WILL be impressed by the kingly setting and offerings of the dining area, especially for breakfast. Do yourself a favor and book a stay at SANA Rex Lisbon :) I WILL be back!

Great hotel to stay and explore Lisbon

The hotel and our room was nice and comfortable. Staff are friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was great. Location is great and in walking distance to many tourist attractions and public transit.

The room was fine. The location wasn’t really near things a tourist would go to. The rating most of all was due to the staff being very unwelcoming and unfriendly. Reception and the restaurant staff hardly made eye contact. Not a smile among them. The bar guys were the exception. Very nice.

Sana Rex exceeded my expectations for a quality traditional hotel with first rate staff, breakfast and rooms...all at a great price and beautiful location with views of a large park and Lisbon. I will definitely stay again.

Pleasantly surprised!

Our flight landed in Lisbon early in the morning and we arrived at the hotel at 10am. The gentleman at the reception desk checked us in early without any additional charges. We were upgraded to a suite room which was great. The hotel is nice and clean with no weird smells. Beds are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is great and has a big selection of food. Staff are hospitable and friendly. I would stay here again and recommend Sana Rex.

The room felt old and outdated, and the lamp above the bed was confusing to turn off, which was frustrating. On the bright side, the receptionist working in the late evening was very kind and accommodating.
