We booked a family room with one double bed and one single bed. When we arrived at around 10:30 pm, we were informed that the original room had a bad smell and were moved to a suite as a complimentary upgrade. While we appreciated the upgrade, the receptionist assured us that the sofa bed had already been set up and was ready to use.
Unfortunately, this was not the case. When we entered the room, the sofa bed had not been prepared. We called reception and were told that someone would come shortly. After waiting for about 30 minutes, two male staff members arrived to set up the sofa bed. By that time, my two young daughters were already in bed and ready to sleep. We did not feel comfortable having them enter the room so late at night, so we decided not to proceed.
As a result, the three of us had to squeeze into one bed, which was far from ideal and quite disappointing given what we had originally booked.
Apart from this issue, the staff were generally friendly. However, the inconvenience significantly affected our overall experience.
