I have a cosy place, one bedroom flat, in a building with 24hrs concierge, it’s not a luxury flat but it has the perfect location, all you need for a pleasant stay, clean place,fully fitted kitchen with cooking utensils, living room with a sofa a single bed, bedroom with a double bed, fits 3/4 people, dinning and coffee table and wireless internet.

TrĂšs trĂšs moyen

Je savais que la location Ă  Londres Ă©tait chĂšre et je ne m’attendais pas Ă  un appartement luxueux malgrĂ© un tarif Ă  180 € la nuit. Mais cet appartement ne prĂ©sentait pas le minimum de confort qu’on se doit d’attendre. Il est situĂ© dans une rĂ©sidence trĂšs propre avec concierge mais les bonnes choses s'arrĂȘtent lĂ  ! La porte de l'appartement a un clapet qui permet Ă  n'importe qui de voir Ă  l'intĂ©rieur. Les derniers travaux faits Ă  la hĂąte dĂ©naturent l’endroit (peinture sur les vitres, au sol 
). Le mĂ©nage Ă©tait sommaire avec un abattant de toilette tĂąchĂ© 
et pas de papier toilette ! Le linge de toilette sensĂ© ĂȘtre fourni ne comprenait qu’une serviette pour 3. Le lit pour enfant / adolescent ressemblait plus Ă  une barque Ă  ressort qu’à un lit. Les ustensiles de cuisine n’étaient pas adaptĂ©s non plus. Et pour finir, aucune insonorisation ! d’autant plus que la fenĂȘtre de la salle de bain ne se ferme pas, nous avons dormi avec les bruits de la rue, notamment avec celui de moteurs de voiture de luxe faisant des courses incessantes dĂšs le petit matin.

TrÚs bien situé

Vraiment parfait pour visiter le centre de Londres, on accÚde rapidement à pied bus ou metro à la plupart des zones touristiques célÚbres. Pas cher au vu de cette situation. Par contre prévoir de quoi s'isoler du bruit (du dehors) et de la lumiÚre car pas de rideaux ou volets.

Appartement chouette mais interdit Ă  la location Abritel...

L'appartement est bien, et super bien placé. Mais c'est difficile de l'évaluer car on s'est rendus compte qu'il est interdit de faire de la location de ce genre dans cet immeuble / géré par un portier à l'entrée. Nous n'avons pas eu de souci pendant notre séjour mais je pense que nous avons eu de la chance que l'équipe de portiers fasse la part des choses et ne se retourne pas contre nous.

Appareil de bonne capacite et bien situé. Grosse amelioration a faire sur le menage ( grille pain et bouilloire encrassés, four et frigo avec des reste d'aliments, dessous de canape avec tres vieille poussiere et gateaux apero, vaisselle colante d'huile...) The host was really nice and welcoming, they met us outside to give us the keys and show us how to access the building. Also had good communication throughout, couldn’t ask for any better than that, thank you! The flat itself was in a very good location, was spacious, and looked like the photos. However, we had some safety concerns throughout our stay-1. There were signs around the building to tell residents that subletting is not accepted. We were also told on arrival to not ask the concierge any questions, as they are not interested.2. The entrance door letterbox could completely open if you put your hand through (with just light touch), and is likely large enough for someone to grab nearby items/undo a lock. 3. The cleanliness was questionable. Whilst the flat was good value, many items in the kitchen had dried food on etc. there was also a broken window. Overall, for a short trip, what we paid was cheap. It’s hard to argue this for the location and space we had. However, I would expect the flat to be cleaned properly prior to arrival :(

This place really need a deep cleaning and organizing. Apartments do not have air conditioners and it was quite hot. Pillows were so disgusting and old, smelled badly and shapeless. Location was convenient and safe.

This property would have been a great stay if it weren’t for one major issue. The key fob which was provided for us to access the building DID NOT WORK. When we mentioned it to the concierge, we were informed that the fob was not correct for the building. I attempted to reach out to the host to correct the problem but I was ignored entirely. There were multiple times where I was stuck outside on the street with my infant and child until someone could let me in. The host provided zero help or assistance in this matter. There are signs posted all over the lobby indicating that short term rentals are NOT ALLOWED at the property. I would assume this is why the fob does not work. The signage also indicates that all property owners are aware that short term rentals are not allowed.Aside from this stress, the flat is as described. The washer was helpful and the AC was nice. BE WARNED the tub gets insanely hot. Just a slight bump of the nozzle would instantly go to 130 degrees F (we luckily had a thermometer for our baby to test the water). Be so SO careful- that is a serious injury/scalding just waiting to happen.

Great stay We hat a Shirt Walk to Supermarkts, famous Oxford Avenue and Hyde park Appartment with 2 Rooms Kitchen and bad room was clean and central.

Not the greatest

The location was decent and we’d probably have been ok with the flat, but the wifi never worked, and the unit was billed as an AC’d flat. There was an AC machine on premises, but it looked like it was from 1066 AD, and its exhaust vent was completely disintegrated, meaning it created massive heat into the room and zero cooling. We couldn’t even use it as a fan because of the heat. There was no attempt to help with this or the wifi, which we were never able to connect to, and likely isn’t being paid for. Not a big deal for me, but my wife wasn’t thrilled that the hairdryer was broken. The last thing to mention was that we were approached twice by different porters for the building who told us the units aren’t meant to be sublet via Vrbo’s or other third parties in the first place per building policy. Thankfully he didn’t throw us out, but it made for an uneasy feeling. Nonetheless, our time in London was exhaustingly wonderful!

OK place but awkward

This is an ok place to stay - one block from a main street with shopping and food. The awkward part is a door fob that isn't working, so the concierge has to let you in and there are obvious signs stating that short term rentals are not allowed. I felt like we were going to get into trouble and kicked out at any moment.

First VRVO are forbidden in the building so or key fob never work and the security guard told us that they blocked our keys. 2 The window on the bathroom is super old and they don't close. It is open all the time and it's freezing there. Alot of wind is commingfrom the window. No Shower curtains So every time we take a shower, the bathroom is a mess water everywhere. And they leave us only 2 towels for a family of 4 for a whole week. So I had to buy my own towels. The window curtains are super small and light. So at 4.30 in the morning his daylight, so you can't sleep well. Not storage place at all. The clothes had to be in the floor cause it's no place to put it. The blow dryer not working. Really old sheets, bad smelling dirty amd old. Etc, Etc. No recomendable at all.

Good place to stay at

The apartment is small and the furniture is obviously well used, but for the purpose it’s intended: a place to sleep at and get ready at to explore the city, it does exactly what it needs to. The host responds to questions instantly no matter the time of day. One downside was that the heating got turned on and can’t be turned off, but windows and airco fixed that. All in all, does what it has to. My aunt and I enjoyed our stay and were happy with the location - close to Edgeware Road station and therefore a short tube-ride away from exploring the city center.
