the room didn’t have windows, toilet separated from the small room area by glass wall/door, no privacy at all, we stayed 3 people in the room and had to go downstairs to the bathroom sometimes just to make everyone in the room comfortable

Unfortunately experienced bed bugs here. The room appeared clean at first glance but when we woke up in the morning we saw bed bugs crawling. Over the next few days tons of bites covered us. We told the hotel first thing and they took out bags to steam but we saw they were simply running a handheld steamer over it (which is not enough to treat bed bugs). They also placed our potentially infected bags next to everyone’s else’s bags in the storage room. The room we were moved to was clean and clear. But I don’t feel like the issue was taken seriously. We took our bags to be professionally cleaned which gave much more peace of mind.

Not worth the money

You can clearly see into the bathroom/toilet area from the main room/sleeping area, so it's not private whatsoever. The lighting in the room is absolutely awful and the concept of the "beauty room" is terrible - particularly when you only have them on 2 floors - to have to transport any hair/makeup/skincare products into a tiny room located on only 2 of the floors of the hotel, just to have a mirror or use a hairdryer is ridiculous. Also wanted to leave our bags for a few hours on check out day and was told this would be at a cost of £15 per bag!!! Outrageous

Confirmed booking but no room reserved

When we arrived my reservation couldn’t be found despite having the booking number and confirmation on my hotels.com app. It took roughly 20 minutes of going back forth with different members of staff until my reservation information was eventually found, only to be told that because I had chosen to pay at property my room hadn’t been reserved. I have chosen to pay at properties with Hotels.com numerous times and I have never had any issues what so ever with this, wether I pay in advance or at property when I book a room and get a confirmation of booking that room should be reserved for me. The staff were able to accommodate us and gave us a slightly larger room, but due to the time it took to resolve the issue we missed our dinner reservations which I had paid to reserve. The room itself was lovely and clean and had comfortable beds, and the location was very convenient and in between Leicester Square and Piccadilly. I know this is probably a one off occurrence, but because of the undue stress and anxiety caused because of my “missing booking” I won’t be returning to the hotel. I do appreciate the staff making sure we had a safe and comfortable place to sleep but it would make me wary of staying there again in case something like this happened once more.

In the heart of Piccadilly, excellent location, close to everything, so many food options around, close to Oxford street shopping district. Tourists attractions easy to access from this area. The rooms are extremely minimalist, a little table and a chair badly needed in the rooms, other than that comfortable stay newly remodeled.

Bed bugs. Point blank. And a staff that couldn’t care less and refuse to offer a refund. They try to throw in a free breakfast but what makes you think I’d stay in your hotel after finding the rooms in that condition? Absolutely terrible. Immediately booked a room elsewhere and it was 100x better. Save your time and energy and book somewhere else unless you want to risk it.

Location is always a key and this property is perfectly situated to get around London. It’s unique as there’s no windows but it’s everything that we needed for our stay. The property is also very nice in accommodating us early when we transfer from our 2 persons room to 4 people room..we got early checked in for no additional cost since we were guests already and just changing our rooms.

Good location but bad service

The hotel is in a great location and is very convenient to get around. The only biggest drawback is that luggage storage costs £15 per piece, which is really too expensive. There are 6 of us in my group, and if we really want this service, it would cost at least £90. This is the first time I've been charged for luggage storage in a hotel while traveling. I've never encountered a hotel that charges for luggage storage, and it's so expensive! Also , when we came back the next day, the trash can had not been cleaned. It was full yesterday and when we came back, we found it was still full. It had not been cleaned at all.
