For the positives, you cannot beat the location - a short one block walk to the fun Venice Beach area! The unit was also very clean and had all of the amenities that we needed. We also appreciated the beach towels and mountain bikes that were provided! Finally, the communication with the owner was fantastic.
For the negatives, the shower water pressure was really poor. I barely have any hair and it was difficult to wash and rinse. The neighborhood parking situation is pretty rough too. Two of the nights, I literally drove around for over 20 minutes trying to find a spot.
If you can deal with these negatives, I would recommend staying here.

Great Location
Publié le 9 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThe location can't be questioned, fabulously close to the beach, but also just far enough away to be quiet and away from the chaos that is Venice Beach. Communication was fab, no worries or concerns as check in day approached and everything went smoothly and perfectly. Upon entry, the property lacks some TLC, but is spacious and clean. The use of 2 bikes was a great bonus as their are some wonderful bike trails up and down the beach. And if people watching is your thing, then this area will deliver by the bucket load. Enjoy 😉 x

Thanks, Ged. You should only remove a star when an issue reported to the host has not been resolved during your stay. Vacation rentals are struggling to stay open in Venice Beach and you, the guests, should help us instead of giving us lukewarm reviews with only 4 stars when we need 5 star reviews to maintain ourselves. You didn't even pay $200 a night to stay in Venice Beach, a block from the ocean, in a house all to yourselves with two bikes! If you need more comfort and TLC, you can find it in other rentals around here, but for over $500 a night. It is possible, it's all a question of price. Please be fair in your assessment of what you get for what you paid. Best, Ada

The perfect spot for a getaway trip to the ocean!
Publié le 19 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house is a perfect distance from the beach. Close enough you can be there in minutes, but far enough away to not hear the noise later in the evening. We were worried the traffic might be too loud, but after 9PM it gets pretty quiet. If you enjoy being able to walk for everything you need and just relax, this is the place to stay!

Perfecta para pasar días en venice a una cuadra de la playa y cerca de restaurantes
Publié le 3 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayYo vine sin auto y camine mucho pero desde Santa Mónica tome el bus 33 y me dejo a 300 metros excelente . Desde hollywood volví con el bus 210 y luego tome el 33 y fue todo genial se puede estar sin carro !

Not exactly as advertised
Publié le 27 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayNice idea but execution isn’t the best. Upon arrive the smell of urine is pretty overpowering. We brought it up and it was recommended we use the candles provided. There’s no AC and all the windows were closed, no fans were on. It was far too hot and combined with the urine smell it was too overwhelming.
Marnie was nice but if you want to be unbothered during your stay not the place.
Location was great. Couldn’t get closer to the beach.
Ultimately, we felt it was best to eat the cost and go stay in a hotel. Wouldn’t recommend

Teuta, I'm surprised by your review, as I've been hosting guests here for over two years and none of them has ever complained of a urine smell. Regarding the heat, you just had to open the windows and turn on the fans, as all my other guests do. They are usually satisfied with their stay, as my other reviews show. Venice beach cottage
Publié le 15 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayWell it is a very old property and is kept up pretty well. Noisy street, we had ear plugs. The rate is good for the place but more than 2 people there is extra guest charge we did not realize initially.

I didn't expect such a low rating, David. You were four adults staying in a Venice Beach house just one block from the beach. I don't know what you expected for this price... If you want to rent a new property in the same neighborhood and without noise, prepare to spend 5 times more next time.

Central Venice Location
