Elevator issues and they gave me room on 4th floor. Also made a copy of my drivers license âfor their filesâ when I checked in. Not sure how Infeel about that given all the identity theft concerns.
This hotel was on our way south. Unfortunately we checked-in before a big group came and waited at least 30 mins. After a tiring drive, it wasnât fun to wait. I just think, they should have had additional help. They had 2 computers. The receptionist was friendly and patient.
The hallways needed vacuuming.
The room was clean. I think I heard they had a recent grand opening, so room looked new. The room had a refrigerator, microwave and electric stove top (2 burner). But no utensils, pots, pans, cups nor plates.
A plus for me was that the room had no carpet.
The bed was ok, not as comfortable as I thought itâd be.
The fitness room had 3 treadmills and an elliptical. No free weights but they do have medicine balls and a cable machine. It got warm working out. I didnât find an air condition controller or fan.
My toiler clogged up on Saturday night and i called the office and the emergency numbers and NO ONE answered. I was upset at the mere calmness from the front desk as if they didn't care about my situation. I felt utterly disrespected. They didn't even offer me anything for my problem. I wont stay there again.
The facility was very clean and well cared for. The ladies at check in were great. It is a very bare bones place. Two things will keep me from using it again. 1. Police leading a man out of the hotel in handcuffs and 2. Not a stitch of hot water the last morning we were there. No staff on duty to complain to. The cable went out as well and we had to call the tech support ourselves. If you are looking for a quick place to spend the night it is fine. I did love the newness and cleanliness of this hotel.
Unfortunately we were only staying one night and that had to be when the hot water wasnât working. Other than that it was pretty good. We didnât realize the front desk was only manned till 8:00 on Sunday but after dialing the number a staff member came and helped us. We would stay again as long as they have hot water.
It's a no frills Hotel more geared towards extended stays. There is no carpeting and no curtains. The lack of curtains let's the streetlights flood your room. The room rates were great. Very close to many restaurants and stores. If you want your towels or washcloths replaced the note in the room says you have to pay for them and room cleaning.
We were a late check in as we were on a road trip. I had read reviews and it was stated there wasnât a person at the front desk. I called several times to let someone know weâd be coming and a time. Someone finally answered and said âwell, youâll have to be quiet, people are sleepingâ. All we needed was a shower and a bed to sleep in. Aside from that, everything was great. Nice, clean rooms and a nice part of town.
