Great location, nice breakfast, good value

The staff were all very nice and friendly. There was entertainment some evenings and plenty of places to sit and relax.
The room was hot and only a small window could be opened. Even though I had it open the whole 4 days, the room was much hotter than the outside temperature.
The breakfast was good although not a lot of choice of cold items. The kippers and poached eggs were wonderful. I loved the English breakfast with mushrooms and beans. If I was to be a bit picky, the sausages were quite tasteless so I gave them a miss after the first day.
The 50's music they played during breakfast put years on me. Not everyone was old enough to remember those songs. A bit more variety would have been nice. Or better yet, no music at all so early in the morning.
Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked very inviting. Hopefully next time.

I enjoyed the friendliness of all the staff, nothing was too much trouble. There was a lovely pool and gym for residents use. Breakfast was very good. The room was serviced every day. Thank you for a lovely peaceful week.

Publié le 3 déc. 2022 sur HotelsTypical B&B. Room was very small and shower not the best. First room shower was very bad but reception moved me straight away. Good location, nice pool and gym. Staff very good, helpful and friendly.

Friendly service from reception staff, restaurant staff an cleaners too. An spotless all way through hotel. Will stay there again.
