Great Memorial Day!
Publié le 9 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis place was aaaaamazing! Perfect family and friends getaway! Donna our host was excellent and responsive, her check-in instructions made this large home with many amenities easy and user friendly. We hope to enjoy again next ski season.

Not What We Paid For
Publié le 15 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayI booked this home for an annual ski trip. We chose this home for its listed amenities; jacuzzi, pool table, media room. Sadly, none of these were in working condition. The pool table had no chalk, media room had no audio, and jacuzzi didn't work. Media room, we spent 2 hours discovering a broken wire and re-wired the whole system, luckily, we had an AV guy in our group. Jacuzzi was the biggest disappointment, not only was there not enough water to cover the jets rendering those useless, it was EXTREMELY difficult to access as it is wedged in a corner surrounded on 3 sides by walls, you can't walk around to remove the top. Please if you rent here, do not attempt to open it alone as it is extremely dangerous, you have to get inside it to push the top back, our friend slipped doing this and the top knocked him over and fell on him, luckily there were 2 others with him that helped pull it off. The disappointments didn't stop there, the kitchen was a mess, one example is the microwave, you can't see the display, only one button works. After spending too much time trying to figure it out, I texted the host/owner, she informed me it did work, you just can't see the display?! While the owner was quick to respond, the solutions weren't helpful. The problems should have been recognized & repaired prior to check in. She also referred to the welcome letter which contained bad info. I was hoping to write a more favorable review to include the owner took care of us, but she hasn't.

After this highly unfounded review we received a FIVE STAR review immediately following this disgruntled guest.
In answer to his microwave complaints, we have two perfectly working microwaves. The guests were having user error issues for not pushing the clear button.
And our Audio Technician was en route within 30 minutes of their call to be turned away because all of a sudden it was miraculously fixed!
First complaint about our spa cover … our young adult daughter can lift alone? Yes the area is tight, perhaps the contractor wanted to shield high winds and contain warm water temps in frigid degree outdoor weather.
And we are so sorry someone misplaced the chalk and I guess the pool table was inoperable after that!!
Should we mention this guest asked for free nights prior to their review?

Dads and Lads ski trip

There was a major storm that hit on Friday and wiped out the lifts at Mammoth for Saturday and Sunday and our flights were canceled on Sunday. Donna gave us a good rate to stay two extra nights which enabled us to get those ski days back on new snow! Very accomodating. The place was the perfect size and amenities for our group. Thank you!

Perfect for large families!

Awesome house and better host!!
Publié le 24 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayMy group and I had such a great time staying here a couple weeks ago! The house is amazing and comfortably fit our group of 10 who visited Mammoth to snowboard. The house was very clean, the amenities were fun, and the host was very helpful. A couple questions came up about the house upon arriving and the host quickly answered everything. Would 100% recommend to everyone!

Made our vacation 100x BETTER
Publié le 21 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayI’ve been going to mammoth every year since I was a child and seen all types of properties. This one I can easily say trumps all the rest. Everything you could possibly want, this home has. Great price, amazing layout, perfect location. Fit all 10 of us very comfortably and helped make our stay so much better than expected. It has all types of entertainment and spaces for all ages. If you like the village, it was a quick 10 minute walk as well. Donna was very quick with every response and helpful with anything we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone and planning on going back.

Great location in Mammoth
Publié le 14 août 2023 sur HomeAwayCommunication with owner is great. Loved the location- it was great to walk over to the festival grounds. The media room, pool table, and hot tub were enjoyed by all! The only thing that may be an issue for some are all the internal stairs. We didn't have a problem, but it may be a consideration for others.
