Deceiving Pictures - Worst hotel in Peru

This is for those of you with insight. This hotel is expensive when compared to other hotels in the area. From the pictures you expect a nice place, but think again. The hotel is old, the mattresses are as stiff as a rock, everything is from the 80s, and not taken care of. The place was dirty, the food was expensive and not that great, the service was abhorrent. We came to this hotel for our 5 year anniversary and they make you sign in blood for an extra towel. Not the type of hotel you would expect for the amount of money they charge. Listen if you want your moneys worth, go down the road and pay another $100 per night for Arrenas Mancora (LP hotel with excellent service). This place is not nice, the pictures lie. The rooms are old, everything in the place is old. and once you begin to speak with staff they tell you that the owner is a tyrant. If a glass is broken they are charged for it. We had a massage lady come in and she told us how they charge her a 30% fee to operate at hotel. They treated us badly and we left this place in disgust. My wife wanted to leave after stepping into the hotel room, but I told her it couldn't be all bad. Well I was wrong. The place, the management, and the service are horrible. Listen to me: go somewhere else and avoid this place at all costs.

Un lindo lugar para desconectarse

Un lugar espectacular, lo único a mejorar sigue siendo el tema del desayuno, más variedad y rapidez en la reposición de los alimentos de la mesa buffet . El personal de servicio, sobretodo del restaurante muy atento y amable.

Buen hotel, buen servicio, falata atencion en el area de piscina de adultos, la cual esta separada de la de niños y eso es bueno.

Personellet kan ikke engelsk og var svært lite imøtekommende da vi kom. Beliggenheten på hotellet var fint, men man betaler for mer enn hva man får. Internettet fungerte sjeldent. Vi bodde der en uke og de skiftet ikke sengetøy en gang. Det er masse ederkopper og andre dyr inne på rommet. Servicen er veldig dårlig generelt.

Fantastic staff and service

Super great service and staff at this hotel. The hotel is very clean and in a good location. You are right where the tide comes in. You can relax in the pool and watch the tide come in less than 10 feet below. It's also a short, and cheap, moto-taxi ride into town. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The only drawback from my point of view was that there was not much of a beach area.
