Tucked into the woods on the same parcel, just up from the water, the roadside cottage at Terrapin Station is the quieter half of this Glen Lake property. Warm knotty pine walls and a white painted brick fireplace give it that up north cottage feeling, while a refreshed kitchen and a fully updated bathroom with a tiled walk in shower keep it comfortable and current.

Two bedrooms with queen beds sit on either side of a light filled living room, and the eat in kitchen with its butcher block island is built for slow mornings and card games that run long. The covered front deck looks out through the birches toward the lake, and it is a short walk down the path to the shared waterfront, where the sand runs out shallow, the dock waits, and the firepit sits ringed with chairs.

This is the spot for a couple or a small family who want Big Glen Lake at their feet without the price of full frontage. Glen Arbor, Sleeping Bear Dunes, the Dune Climb, and M22 are all minutes away.

KITCHEN: Well equipped full kitchen with a butcher block island and eat in dining, refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, coffee maker, cookware and dishware

Special Things to Note:

This cottage sits back from the water and shares the waterfront lawn, dock, firepit, and lakeside deck with guests staying in the lakeside cottage. Each cottage is fully private inside.

Washer and dryer are located in the basement of the lakeside cottage and are available to guests of both cottages seasonally, through mid October.

The fireplace is decorative and is not available for use.

There is no air conditioning. Ceiling fans and shade keep things comfortable.

For families traveling with infants, a pack-n-play or crib is available upon request for an additional fee, subject to availability.

Other Important Notes: Smoking is strictly prohibited (violations will result in incurring fees). Failure to return key upon check-out will result in a $200 replacement fee.
