We really liked how close it was to everything. Very quiet and accomodating. Cindy was an excellent host.

Hi Ted,We are glad your children had a good time here. I hope you did, too. Aaron and Andy seem to think you did - so good that you almost missed your flight the next day (hahaha). Thank goodness for Aaron (even if he was a little grumpy - can't really blame the guy for being woken up after so few hours of sleep) was willing to drive you to the airport. I (Cindy) am sorry I miss you and your children. Next time. Come back again soon.

At over $400 for two nights, the cost was completely disconnected from the condition of the building. Stained curtains, old carpets, stale air and ancient, mouldy soaps long forgotten in the bathroom medicine mirror cabinet. We we also told that a load of laundry would be $30! That said, the staff is very lovely and they're working hard to breath new life into this hotel. I hope they make it.

We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations. You may recall that we were not informed about you brining a dog: we were scrambling to rearrange your room assignment to accommodate your dog. We initially had prepared adjoining rooms to accommodate your party, but we had to make a last-minute changes and obviously we did not have enough time for a thorough check of the room. Thank you for your understanding of our efforts at improving the establishment. I know there were a few days when you had to walk around a maze of toilets as we were trying to install new ones. Come and visit us again. Hopefully, there won't be a maze of new sinks or something else.

Property was old and building requires improvements. Cost was a little expensive. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We are working on improving the property. Your girls were sweet to leave me their gifts of seashells. I hope they will remember Haida Gwaii fondly for a long time.

It has been closed for around 10 years I was told. Staff is great, but this place needs a lot of work. Not even hand soap or coffee in the rooms rooms. No food available the pub and restaurant aren’t actually open.

We are sorry if the liquid soap at the sink and the tub was not adequate. We will have bar soaps for those guests who prefer bar soaps. We just found them to be more wasteful and less environmentally friendly. We would have provided coffee machine upon request. We apologize that the restaurant was not open. As you mentioned, it's been closed for years and the renovation of the restaurant is taking longer than we had hoped for. Thank you for your input. We will use it to improve for our future guests.
