A great place for everyone!
Publié le 10 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at this lovely beach home with our siblings & spouses for 4 nights and it was perfect. The rooms, decor, and furnishings were everything listed. Of course we were very lucky with the weather......perfect! If anyone is interested in charter boat fishing we highly recommend East Coast Fishing Charters of Melbourne,Florida......Don is owner and is super!

Publié le 12 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were so excited to stay at this property. The photos in the add looked great, including great amenities and location. Unfortunately when we arrived it was a whole new story. The pool was dirty, full of debris in the bottom. The house was also very poorly cleaned. The flooring throughout the house was dirty, the couch had food crusted on it. There was only 1 kitchen towel that we could find in the whole house. The bathrooms had been poorly cleaned, there was toilet paper on the floor in 2 of them.
While the cleanliness was poor, the biggest issue of this house was that 2 of the doors leading to the ocean side, did not lock AT ALL. Having kids, this was not acceptable. Fortunately, the host did return some of our money.

Accommodations were great.
Publié le 16 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayLoved the beach location. Had all the beach "toys" for the kids. Living space great. Kitchen lights inadequate. I like a bright light kitchen. Kitchen equipment, great. Outside furniture not so good. Really needs replacing with plastic, to keep from beach weather rusting. Would be helpful to speak to the SALT water in the home. We did go get fresh water to drink and make coffee. Would be good to know showers are salty. Communication with host, Lauren, was fantastic. Allowed early check-in. No such thing as perfection. I would stay again.

Not A Nicer Ocean View Anywhere……But
Publié le 11 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe found this property over a year ago, and even considering it was an extra 4 hour drive for our family from our normal North Carolina Beach stay, we were so impressed with the location and pool area with a hot tub we decided to try this area a few miles south of Melbourne, FL. Upon arriving, we noticed the pool was in very poor condition water quality wise. Sand, worms, and other debris were at the bottom and the filter system was obviously not working properly. Called the owner about it and he said to use the creepy crawly vacuum system. There wasn’t enough suction for the device to even work, so my son-in-law dived down with his snorkel system and a 1 1/2 inch pool hose to get up the lightweight debris. We weren’t even notified someone would clean up the sand but they finally arrived on Tuesday morning. Doors on the upper level ocean side were hard or impossible to open and not able to be locked. Ants on the counter in the kitchen. This property has so much potential! Lots of bikes and beach toys available, and the gas grill worked great, but sadly it has a feeling of needing an entire face lift. Love the area! Saw a night space launch from the balcony and the beach is beautiful with very few people. Boat rentals including pontoons just down the street for boating on the beautiful Indian River. If you’re looking for a private like beach, this area is the place. We will return, but we’ll find another location next time.

We are truly sorry for the issues you encountered during your stay, especially regarding the pool. Upon being notified of the sand in the pool, we promptly contacted the pool company, and they arrived the following day. We regret that you had to endure a 24-hour delay before the sand was removed from the pool.
We also apologize for the problems you experienced with the doors and the presence of ants in the kitchen. These issues should not have occurred, and we will work diligently to address and resolve them to ensure a more comfortable stay for our guests in the future.
We appreciate your kind words about the location and the unique experiences you had in the area, such as witnessing a night space launch and enjoying the beautiful, less crowded beach. It's great to hear that you made the most of your time in the area.
We understand your decision to explore other options for your next visit, but we hope that you may reconsider and give our property another chance once we have taken the necessary steps to improve and provide a more enjoyable stay.

Idk who cleans this place but there was 2 raw pieces of chicken in the pool that we did not see until someone put their feet on it. There was raw chicken skin on 2 of the balconies. And the sliding glass doors took the strength of the hulk to open and shut. One of the handles was barely hanging on and broke off during our stay. Other than that. It was a gorgeous house and wonderful stay.
