Bonne halte pour une nuit

Maison insolite, qui ressemble plus à un musée qu'un B&B, chambre plutôt petite sous les toits, salle de bain qui donne sur le couloir, pas trop d'aération, sinon très bon accueil et petit dejeuner très bien et copieux, fait maison , personne ne parle français mais la propriétaire fait des gros efforts pour parler doucement et avec quelques notions d'anglais on se comprend

The interior of the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. There was alot of dust, broken glass & a peculiar smell throughout. The shower was a danger to get in & out. The owner & host, Laura Sue was down right rude, nasty, miserable, & condescending the entire stay. She made us both very uncomfortable during our stay. She stated she did not like that we booked thru Expedia & therefore would only give us discounted service. When we mentioned we were there for my husband's birthday, she told us she could not wish him a happy birthday because we booked thru Expedia. Laura Sue would not let her husband/owner speak to us because of this also. She told us she looked into how Expedia billed us & said we were over billed by Expedia. If we could have received a refund, we would have left immediately! We also heard gunshots the last 2 nights of our stay. All the other B&B's were sold out in the area with the exception of Schuster Mansion. Now we understand why. Worst B&B ever!

Denise,We take all reviews seriously and they help us improve our services every day. As we reflect to your first phone call. You insisted that you did not want to follow our policies and basically telling us how we should run our business, to benefit you. Then when Laura Sue greeted you at the door, welcoming you to come and sit to check you in, you would not, you were very force full in you did not like the billing that you were billed. But you chose to book with Expedia, not with us. At that point, she considered giving your money back. You put us in a place we did not want to be, walking on eggshells in our own home. You were adamant that you really did not need us during your stay. We honored your request, did very little interacting. (we do love having breakfast with a guests) If there was any issue with the room, nothing was said. You demanded that we just block your room instead to paying ahead, as we did, but in the end you booked a different one without telling us, through the 3rd party. As far as the "gun fire" you stayed days before New Years Eve. Neighborhood fireworks are very common. We know for a fact that the other BnB's were not sold out. And our cleaning person, was in shock that there was an issue with "dust". And yes, the room you picked has a deep claw foot tub. Did you use the handicap handle that is attached to the tub? Your husband did say that he did not want to acknowledge that he had a birthday, so in jest, I said that I would not wish you a happy birthday. We, with every guest, want the best for them, but the guests has to trust us and just step back and enjoy all that the mansion has to offer. But again even though many love Laura Sue for who she is and the big heart she has, there are those can not see it. Which makes it hard, Laura Sue can not please everyone. As far as the "worst", we do not think all the other guests, especially the returning ones would agree with you, on your last comment. Wish you a Happy New Year.

Funky haunted mansion in the hood. Hosts were great as was breakfast. Mansion is really cool. Just don’t stray from the property at night.

We chose this property due to its proximity to American Family Field and we’re glad we did. The place was clean and comfortable. The hosts were fantastic. I’d be happy to stay there again.

The home was lovely and the hostess/host were delightful. The houses in the area are unkept but don’t let this scare you off. It is safe

The property is beautiful and the host was very welcoming. The houses around the area are a little questionable but don’t let that scare you off.
