The continental breakfast ended at 9am. I am use to them going until 10am so we almost missed it.

Affordable place to stay
Publié le 29 févr. 2024 sur HotelsNeeded an affordable place in Mitchell, SD to stay for one night. Booked on line, which was convenient and easy. The staff at the motel were very nice and friendly. The bed was comfortable. Only issues to note...
1. The remote control to the TV did not allow me to change the channels. I figured out that the only way to change the channel was by pushing some buttons on the back of the TV until I found the desired channel. But if I wanted to change it again, I had to go to the back of the TV again and push more buttons.
2. There is a heating, cooling unit on the wall. Looks like a regular window AC unit. It worked well, but no matter what temp I set it at, the fan would come on (loudly) and then after a few minutes, shut off. Then a couple more minutes the fan would rev up again...go for a few minutes and then shut off again...the entire night. This pattern was slightly annoying because several times throughout the night, it would would wake me up.

This hotel is a little hidden nice surprise. Clean, updated, good breakfast, restaurants within walking distance, friendly staff, close to I-90
