We chose this hotel for our family of 5 while en route to Florida for a family vacation. We purposefully chose it for the location, free breakfast and inviting photos. We were very disappointed. The breakfast in the morning was unbeatable. What little was left of the eggs contained some kind of mystery substance. The cereal was stale. All muffins were gone. Coffee was empty. When another guest requested the items be refilled, the lady at the front desk said that was it for the day, even with 2 hours left of their breakfast hours. Here’s a few other things that were not satisfactory: Pillows were lumpy. Stains on bedding. Carpet was damp. Outlet in bathroom didn’t work. Chair smelled terrible. Towels smelled like mildew. Coffee machine was in the bathroom! Trash was left from previous guest. Will never stay here again.

The room is one of the WORST I have ever checked into. When we first entered the room, the flat surfaces (night stands and desk) all were dirty and sticky . On the floor by the bathroom there were maggots on the floor by the door jam. We asked to be changed to a different room, and they did accommodate us. The second room had a roach run out from under the door when we were getting ready to open the door. When you walk on the floors, your shoes stick to the floor like an old bar. The couch has stains all over it. This place is truly disgusting.

Sheets and towels were covered in stains, mattress cover was filthy, when I turned the lights on baby roaches scattered on the bedside table, I had to bring in cleaning supplies and clean the bathroom just to be able to shower!

I would honestly say choose a different place. I had pets and checked in early, I didn’t hesitate about claiming my pets and I didn’t mind paying $358 for a 2 night stay with the added charges. I’m not a Karen, and policy is policy. But since I always clean my rooms entirely before leaving and this hotel decided to charge both me, and a friend I referred to the hotel this weekend $60 additional fees after check out, I’ll go ahead and tell you how below standard this was for a Baymont property. The pillows need replaced badly. The smell like your teenage kids’ pillows- that sweat and dirty hair smell. They do have free breakfast, but this location offers less than any Baymont or La Quinta we’ve frequented in the past. It felt more like continental, and breakfast is a primary reason we choose Wyndham properties when we travel for dog shows. Our water was yellow in the shower, and in the sink and toilet. There were also gnats, and I still can’t figure out where they were coming from. But mostly, it seems like they’re running a scam on cleaning fees. Both rooms we rented were occupied by two adults each, and show dogs that were disclosed, and paid for. Both parties pre cleaned our rooms. There were no messes, or animal potties in the rooms. And we are all people who frequent hotels with these dogs- this isn’t a typical action. This property is fine, but $410 for two nights is outrageous for budget style lodging.

I brought my three dogs with me on the trip. The reservation said there may be a pet fee. When I checked in it was$30.00 per dog. I think thats excessive . My dogs are very well trained, groomed and clean. I put them in cages at night. They don’t bark at all. I was kept up until well after 10:00 pm with the couple across the hall fighting. I had to call down to the desk twice because she had locked him out and his banging and yelling was shaking my door. We were afraid to take our dogs out to go to the bathroom for the night because then Nan was being very violent. The police were finally called to remove him but she must have been on the phone with him because the yelling didn’t stop until about 10:30. We had to get up at 5:00 am and we were greeted to pot smoke as soon as we opened the door. Supposed to be 100 percent smoke free. I chose that place because I didn’t want to spend the night in Getto surroundings. They offered no compensation when i complained. I wouldn’t stay here. They didn’t really seem to care about their guests. That woman should have been removed too. There was no apology to the guest that had to listen to that for over an hour.

Bedding was dirty. It was very evident that the sheets had not been change since the last guest. Upon peeling the layers of the bedding I discovered more body fluids and blood stains through the whole bed. I had to leave and ask for a refund. Would not recommend.

Very outdated and the smell is awful. The TV's are the first flat screen made, and the bed are crippling. On a good note, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here several times on our way to Gulf Shores , over the years . I like the location and friendly staff. Rates are reasonable and the beds are comfortable.
