HIGHLY enjoyed celebrating my "Diamond Birthday" at this resort! Everything was excellent each day we were there.... consistently! The food, the staff, the people, the culture, the beach, the music, the laughter, the hotel room, and the opportunity to have access to the other resorts under the RIU umbrella (walking distance). We also enjoyed various guided tours and on location activities provided by the hotel that were available to us. Off campus tours can be booked daily onsite as well. We couldn't ask for anything better making this decision. It was more than we expected!! We are definitely returning to Montego Bay, Jamaica and the Hotel RIU Reggae Resort! Ya Mon, no problem! The buffet areas were actually really great here! This is the first time I’ve said that about an AI, but breakfast, lunch, and dinner options were really the best part of this resort. Room was nice and A/C ran perfectly. We had an oceanfront king room, it was basic and above one of the swim up pools. The pool closes quite early so there won’t be a lot of noise from that, which was great. The main buffet was 2 floors below us and there was never any extra noise or food smells, which was great having it so close to us.

We both enjoyed our stay at the RIU Reggae. The room was clean, comfortable and the inclusive drinks in the room made it much more relaxing. The food buffet style was exceptional. Loved the different choices that were provided. During the day the pool area was a little more louder than we are used to, but the more lively guests were really enjoying their time. The pool area was large enough though to accommodate us. The beach area had great sand and easy access to the sea, with plenty of beach recliners. Overall a great stay

Disappointed from the moment we got out of the taxi. The welcome cocktail was not offered until we asked, and the front desk staff showed little interest in guests. The room safe did not work, and despite calling the front desk and reporting it three times through the RIU app, no one ever showed up. Food was low quality and repetitive. I’ve stayed at other RIU resorts that were much better—management here clearly needs more competent staff.
