The only place to stay at in Nanaimo

Wonderful room overlooking the harbour, (room 311) Spacious, well equipped and impressive on entry. We had breakfast twice and one evening meal. Enjoyed all of them. We had a king size bed which was very comfortable.

Everything is almost perfect,there are no water battles in the fridge and when I asked why? the answer was the hotel is Eco friendly but the tap water coming out have odor/smell but she said I can fill up my container at the lobby funny thing is I was on 14th floor...you figure...

The views were great and there was a walking path around the harbour. The beds were comfortable and I loved the Beekind soap. shampoo etc. Staff were friendly and quick to respond to any requests.

I only booked thru Expedia because the hotel didn’t answer their phone. So I booked a king room but upon check in I was told they overbooked and I would be given a “upgrade” to a double queen room, for the same price (somehow a double queen is more expensive?). Was slightly disappointed because I was looking forward to a king sized bed. Room was smaller than I expected and what was pictured. Everything was pretty decently clean tho. A full sized tub would have been nice. Overall, I don’t think it was worth the price paid tho. Can’t speak for the restaurant or any other amenities as I unfortunately didn’t have time for all that. Front desk staff was very friendly and nice.
