Quiet and peaceful
Publié le 29 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThe neighborhood is lovely with beautiful, large homes with a peek of the bay. The space Brian has created feels just like home. Nice decor and touches throughout. We're happy we chose this property after looking at several choices. It was just a few minutes drive to Departure Bay to catch the ferry to Vancouver.

Short family vacay
Publié le 2 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband, sister and brother in law all stayed at this beautiful, spacious basement sweet. We toured Nanaimo, a short trip north towards Parkville. We did 2 trips south towards Victoria. Location was excellent for all these trips. Host Brian and his wife were most helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely return to stay here again.

Great Stay!

Thoughtful Hosts

Brian took the time to enquire beforehand about any needs we had and was there to greet us when we arrived. The ensuite was spotless, comfortable and included details to make our stay extra special (little chocolates on the coffee table, fresh garden tomatoes brought to us, the temperature of the hot tub set and sofa bed turned down prior to our arrival, etc.
The location was perfect for getting groceries, gas and reaching the ferry the next day (easy 12 mins. drive). We highly recommend this home and host!

Great location
Publié le 21 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe were on a girls' trip and needed a place to stay between Victoria and Campbell River for one night. This location was perfect. Easy to find, and easy to access (we arrived after 10 p.m.). There is a somewhat steep short hill down to the gate, so we just had to be extra careful in the dark. The home was very neat and tidy, and had everything we needed for our short stay. The beds were comfortable (including the sofa bed). We were able to take an early morning walk to Keel Cove/Neck Point Park, for a beautiful sunrise!
