Good stay

We liked the proximity to the ferry, and to Maffeo Park and seawall pathway (walking distance). We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast (oatmeal, fruit, muffins, boiled eggs, coffee). The beds were comfortable, but we made an error and booked double beds, instead of queen beds. Comfy, but cramped. The Inn maintains cleanliness, but it is dated. There was a slight odour when you're in the hallway, or in the rooms. Perhaps it's the carpet or ventilation? We appreciate the shampoo, lotion, and soft towels. We booked the kitchenette room for options to cook (which we did not). Because there's only so much space for a kitchenette and 2 beds, the room was tight for space. Please not that the kitchenette is right beside one of the beds. There's about a 2 feet separation. Overall, a good stay. Good value.

Room was not as pictured, beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. Was supposed to be 3 queens and it was 2 queens and a pull out. Coffee was not restocked daily we had to go ask for it.

Crazy lady at the counter did not like the way I parked so when she came in at 5:00 am she blocked my truck in with her SUV. When I got up In the morning and saw the SUV parked across the back of my truck I waited around my room until 11:00 am waiting for who ever was looking for the confrontation to move the SUV. Finally I went out and drove my truck forward over the curbs to get going without a fist fight in the parking lot. When I walked back into room my wife told someone called and said we could keep the same room for another night. I went down to the desk and was ambushed by a bunch of screaming leftards standing behind desk who told me they blocked my truck and they can do whatever they want and can expletive off if I don’t like it. I ask why they did not call me and explain at say 8:00, 9:00 or 10:00 am so I was not stressing about what kind of nutjob blocked my truck and one of the women started screaming at me to get the expletive out. Worst experience I have ever had in 70 years of Travel. Then when we were leaving the insane wack job who blocked me accused me of damaging her vehicle. Place should be shut down and all the lunatics put in a cage.

The room was just average and the bed probably needs to be replaced. It was nice that it was a short walk to the water but the area has alot of homeless walking around making evening walks alittle sketchy. Internet access was great and the staff was friendly.

The bathtub was an absolute disgrace. It was so worn out and had pit marks on the bottom of it that had been patched up with some kind of material to fill in the holes. The enamel on the tub was completely gone. You would think the owners of this business would be able to replace a bathtub now and then with the income that is generated.

The location is easy walking distance to the habourfront and parks, although it is situated directly behind a derelict lot. The room was modern and clean, but the common areas have seen better days.

The staff was wonderful! The night staff even put our laundry in the dryer due to it being in use Renovated room was very nice. Balcony was a neat touch. But the carpeting, walls & doors throughout could use an upgrade. It was noisy with children, but you can’t control that. Overall an average stay.
