Avis Napili Bay 202 Oceanfront Studio - Free Local Activities Every Day Of Your Stay

Much to say about this amazing place! This oceanfront studio is a modest place, with everything we needed for an amazing vacation. The listing is very accurate including the photographs, and the owner/agent was always responsive and welcoming. This studio was well setup with updated amenities, a comfortable bed, equipped updated kitchen and bathroom. We spent much time on the Lania taking in the breathtaking views of Napili Bay, and surrounding areas. There are a couple of grocery stores nearby. We snorkeled every day in Napili Bay and saw some amazing fish and other reef critters. The view is also great for whale watching. It was also nice to have a couple of nice beach chairs to take with us. It was great that all we had to do was step out the door and we were on the beach. The sound of the surf was also an amazing part of the experience at this studio and added much to our peaceful experience.

We had previously stayed in an adjacent unit, that while more expensive, is far more updated and has better supplies overall. This unit is nice with signs of wear and tear. We did have to ask for glassware and additional bath towels, and kitchen towels. The management company was quick to respond! We came to see the whales in the channel and we were able to watch them from the balcony! The beach in front of the unit is peaceful and clean. A wonderful location. If starting at the condos again, I would check the specifics of each unit before making a selection. That said, we would definitely stay at Napili Bay condos again!

We have stayed at the complex before but in another unit. This unit had been updated with new flooring, kitchen cabinets and appliances (no DW). It is right on the beach overlooking beautiful Napili Bay and Kapalua Bay is a ten minute walk so there are two handy swimming and snorkeling spots. It had two beach chairs and umbrella which were great although one chair should be replaced due to wear and tear. No AC (which we knew about) but no problem with louvered windows and fans. The louvers should be lubricated because some were quite sticky. Since there is no DW there should be dish towels, but they were not provided and the manager advised that the owner does not provide those. There were no hot pads either so we had to use wash cloths. Seems like a minor expense to provide those. For the three weeks we were there, the toilet ran the entire time. We contactedMaui Beachfront Rentals (the manager) on our second day there because it seemed like a waste of water and expensive, particularly if water use is metered. They said they would contact the owner, but no action was ever taken. Despite these complaints, which could be easily and cheaply remedied, we would rent there again. It’s a nice unit with such a great location.

A perfect spot right on the ocean. Would have liked the gazebo to be open longer than 2 pm though. Dinner or drinks on the water would have been super nice.

Absolutely love that you are feet from the beach! That is for sure the best thing about this location. There were some unwelcome insect friends but got over that. Got a bit warm in there but would stay again simply for location.

If you're looking to stay on Maui, with about 2 feet from a beach, that's not too crowded and full of tourists, then this is the place for you. It's well within a reasonable price for the area. It's got everything you need to cook, store food for the week, ton of outlets and usb plugs and have an exceptional time in a place that feels like home. For an apartment style unit, it's quiet and well maintained. We were able to walk about 15 ft, open the gate and walk down the beach to a number of locations. There's a snorkel shop extremely close. A hair, nail and massage place. Very good food options that won't surprise anybody with prices if you are from the bay area or NYC locations. We found this unit to have everything we needed for a very relaxing enjoyable stay except... The only thing we wished it had was AC or at the very least, a portable AC unit or two ceiling fans like some of the units. When it's hot and muggy, this is a hot box. Thankfully there was a good ceiling fan and large portable fan that kept it reasonable for me (still unreasonable for my traveling companion) but if you have trouble sleeping in heat, oof... just be aware and figure out ways to keep cool.. To be fair, AC isn't really a thing in many places except the higher end hotels. I think that's going to change soon. The place was clean upon arrival but could have been a little cleaner. The sheets were questionable upon arrival, no more than a roll of paper towels and no garbage bags. The maintenance person who was here thought we should have some and dropped off 5 for us to use which was enough. It's a nice unit, maintained by a rental company that is responsive during business hours. There's cleaning supplies for those who feel they could do a little more. We did get new sheets (as in new in box) 3 days after we asked. Which begs the question why pay a cleaning fee when it's not spotless when you arrive? It's a nice small studio apartment with everything we needed to have a great stay. Parking was great. Quiet at night. Beach access incredible. Good water, nice spacious fridge. Mahalo!

Clean and well kept. Great view. It's right on the bay so there will be surf crashing at night, bring ear plugs if that's a problem for you. Take garage out everyday or there will be cockroaches. We love it and will return

Loved the location, on a lovely beach of thick sand and wonderful swimming. It met all of our needs. We are returning to this complex next year!

Napili Beach is fantastic and this unit is clean, efficient and unbelievably convenient! We loved it and I think it’s a great deal.

There is no better place in the world to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening mai tai than on a lanai overlooking Napili Bay! We found this location to to be the perfect blend of location and affordability, and could not have asked for anything more. The room was clean, cozy, and well supplied, and the view was always pristine! If we are ever fortunate enough to again spend time on Maui, you can bet that we will be staying here, building sand castles within arms reach of the door and getting lulled to sleep by the surf!
