Wonderful getaway!
Publié le 16 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayIan & family We had such an enjoyable 3 night weekend. The cottage was so cozy & comfortable. Perfect location with lots of privacy. We had a fire in the pit every day & the hot tub was great with a view of a nice little waterfall. We love the village of Naples & your brewery in Canandaigua. Thanks for sharing your property with us. Theresa & Scott

Many small things
Publié le 25 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThere were several small hangups that would be forgivable on their own, but there were so many it kind of gave the impression the cabin is not well maintained. There was old coffee still in the coffee pot when we arrived, the coffee pot took several hours to brew, the TV was glitchy and we gave up watching a show, the bathroom door didn't close all the way, the cold water in the bathroom didnt work, the faucet in the kitchen sink was broken. Again, each thing alone would be forgivable, but they all added up. Thankfully the hot tub and arcade were in good working order. Overall, I would stay again, but I would be more prepared.

Weekend Getaway

But coffee maker didn't work. No problem tho cause I figured out a way. No can opener on premise which meant no olives on our pizza 😪 ,lol. And surprisingly no clock anywhere on the walls. Oh. And there's an arcade style video game that seems not to work?
All in all a great place tho. I would recommend.

We are not hard to please people but there were just too many things that should and can be improved. Cleanliness was poor; dish drain had soap scum in it, kitchen sink was not clean, old sponges were still being used instead of just leaving a new one still in a wrapper. Once I picked up the dirty sponges and a scrub pad there was debris left on the sink and certainly the back splash area. Just like previous reviews, the coffee pot was poor at best it took literally 45 minutes just to get a cup of coffee. The shower head came off in my hand when I tried directing the water away from the shower curtain, there were only two bath towels in the bathroom, and one wadded up in a tote in a closet and there were no washcloths to be found anywhere. Except for the large windows in the kitchen and living room the majority of the windows had all sorts of debris in them and they were very dirty. The hot tub was mostly clean, but the underside of the cover was pretty gross. Additional bedding was strewn into totes and in the top of the bedroom closet, it wasn't even folded. Left us with the notion the host is not checking the property, or these things are not important. If I could provide pictures I certainly would. Large cobwebs about in and out. We are not Karen's or Kevin's as the host previously referred to someone who left a bad review. Need more room for more info.

We want to extend our apologies for your stay and make sure future guests are aware that we have hired a new cleaning service. We do not find this acceptable and are now aware that this is not just a one-time issue. Valley Cleaning Company a locally owned and highly regarded company will be taking over, and we look forward to having some positive feedback from future guests. We own several business's, properties, and have children so unfortunately, we have to rely on those we hire to represent us. We have been doing this for over a decade and we have much higher standards than what has been represented. We would hope that you would come and stay with us again and offer the opportunity to showcase what the new cleaners are doing.

Anniversary Getaway
Publié le 12 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis cozy cabin was perfect for my husband and I to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. It’s conveniently located near different towns. The hot tub was perfect for the cooler nights. Highly recommend this cottage.

Great for my needs
Publié le 9 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayI would definitely stay here again. The hottub, the arcade cabinet, and the fantastic view from kitchen and living room windows were the highlights. And the owner was fantastic!!!
Just note, the cottage is located up a hill so there is really nowhere to take a walk. And some of the interior looks a little old. The bathroom door does not fully close for example and the kitchen cabinets are a little dingy, inside and out. But the price is right for what you get!

Very dirty!
Publié le 3 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayStayed here because of the hot tub but I should have listened to the other reviews, opened the cover and there were swirls of brown goo floating on top of the water, tried to skim it off with paper towels but just too gross to use. Windows were filthy with piles of leaves/debris between the panes, both sinks didn’t drain at all and the coffee maker took almost an hour to make five cups. We also live in the finger lakes and on a farm so that’s not an excuse. I have never left a bad review about anything and normally would rather not say anything and chalk it up as a lesson learned but I figured this might save someone else from learning the hard way.

The hot tub is changed every couple weeks with a deep clean while doing it . Look at all the 5 star reviews and make your own judgement future guests…. Had this gentleman called we
would have sent someone right out to remedy any issues. Its fall and a constant upkeep with leaves weekly so i have no response on that except use your head and look at the 10,000 trees dropping leaves daily…. We are great hosts and i have no reason to explain ourselves to the ‘Karens and Kevins’ of the world.. A simple call would have sufficed and resolved this. You clearly don't own a regularly used rental with hot tub and understand how guests destroy, misuse and neglect your property. Sorry for your negative experience.

Cozy Getaway

Great cabin in Naples
Publié le 24 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayMy girlfriend and I stayed here for three nights and loved it. It was a perfect size for us and our two dogs. The space inside is great and includes a nice kitchen that we used to cook for two of the nights we were there. The place was very clean and the location is perfect. I am sure we will stay there again.

Best hideaway getaway

Anything else with a tub was twice the price. And this was close to great food right in the village of Naples. We are already discussing booking again.
