The beach was beautiful. The rooms were old with the worst furnitures ever seen in a resort, Water from the shower will run into the floor leading up into the room. TV was not working and no hair blow dryer available. Limited food choice with the worst Cafe shop ever. Only one restaurant was open and entertaining none existed. Luckily the staff members were amazing and tried their very best to assist us with the limited resources they had to make our stay somewhat comfortable.

We had three rooms booked at this property The limited dining, the low quality alcohol served with offers to be sold higher quality on the shelf. The entire resort is in disrepair and needs some attention. We had a significant medical event in one of the rooms due to a tile slicing into a foot. The resort at the start reluctantly tried to resolve and in the end paid for the medical staff that had to come to the resort. The resort did offer to comp the one room for one night.

Azul staff is outstanding and friendly. We are return guests and many remembered us. Entertainment crew (Anton, Flames, Tio, TT) kept their energy level high even though it was low season. While it was understandable that one restaurant at a time would be open due to low occupancy alternating between only two restaurants was not ideal. Perhaps opening different restaurants during the week or keeping the buffet open would help. It seemed strange to run out of so many things considering low capacity. Management needs to be more accountable for these shortcomings and correct so that front line employees do not need to hear the complaints from guests. Hopefully the misses are corrected as we would love to return. The beach is absolutely incredible!

Property in need of TLC, but staff 💯

The property overall is lovely. However, it is desperately in need of some TLC and maintenance. There were plugs in my room that did not work. The staff are who made the stay worthwhile. Nameisha and Shyaine at Customer Service, Tina at the pool bar and the many servers at The Palm that made the experience fantastic and bearable.

While the property itself was adequate, the food options were simply not as advertised. I understand that our visit was during low season, but there was only two restaurants open, and the menus were the same every night. Overall, the resort staff was attentive, and responsive.

We have stayed in many all inclusives over the years, and I’ve never stayed in one with such deferred maintenance. Walkways were in terrible condition, would be very difficult for someone with mobility issues. It’s the slow season so I understand not all restaurants being open, but to only have one option daily for breakfast and dinner is crazy. We stayed for 5 nights and only got to try three places. The bars, room service and restaurants were constantly out of everything as well. The location is beautiful and the beach was gorgeous, but it left a lot to be desired. The staff over all was very nice and welcoming, the spa had limited facilities but service was great. The entertainment staff was awesome and we had a lot of fun, but they forced you to leave good reviews in front of them and it felt very awkward.

Please note online azul advertise they has 7 to 9 restaurant what they don’t say is only one is open nightly for dinner. This is unacceptable, went to the ackee restaurant my first night and nothing on menu I could eat. Another strange thing about this property you go to buffet for breakfast you’re told no ackee and salt fish for breakfast but you can order from room service. This all inclusive is really a joke. Customer service tried thou, but at the end of day their hands are tied.
