Listing is deceptive – do not recommend!
Publié le 29 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayUpon arrival, my friends and I were perplexed to only find 3 bedrooms, despite the listing stating FIVE - this meant we had to share rooms! We informed the property manager, and they thought that maybe when they updated the listing to account for the Murphy bed added to the basement, it may have also changed the bedroom count. We responded that even if that were the case, the bedroom count would be 4 not 5. We were offered an Uber eats gift card for the mistake, which we declined. We asked that the owner be contacted so we could discuss a more reasonable resolution, but the property manager did not follow up with us.
They did manage to change the listing online from FIVE bedrooms to FOUR bedrooms though.
Sidenote: the Murphy bed is situated among workout equipment in the basement and does not meet the standards of a bedroom. It cannot even be fully pulled down as it sits on top of the treadmill and bench press – and there is NO MATTRESS!
The amenities list “hot tub”, yet it was unusable. It’s situated on a steep hill with no entry steps or ladder.
The metal bunkbed was unsafe. The top bunk was missing a bolt on one end and the two bolts used to secure the other end clearly did not belong to this piece of furniture. We pulled the mattresses onto the floor to sleep safely.
A guest that reviewed the property stated that the ground fl bed was “sunk in”. The owner replied saying that they “repaired the bed right away.” The mattress still sunk in, forcing you to sleep in the middle

Week Day Getaway
Publié le 1 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty manager was very kind and responsive. Greatly enjoyed the views of the pond and the basement pool and ping pong tables. Great time playing these games with mybson as the weather wasn't conducive for water activities.

Bachelor party getaway.

Overall pleasant stay but falsely advertised
Publié le 23 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay at this property but to say the least, the pictured on VRBO do not accurately represent the upkeep of the property and its grounds. It is clear that this property is either fairly new and unfinished or going through renovations. The surround sound was not complete making it difficult to use the movie room. Overall, there are multiple things that are either completely different, not there at all, and or not working. Our host was very responsive and kind and the location is beautiful.

Woke up and thought we were in a snow globe
Publié le 29 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect!!! Such a relaxing place. We got to get away from our daily grinds, bring the pup and enjoy Valentine’s Day with a gorgeous snow capped view of the lake and mountains. Can’t wait to visit again sometime after the winter is over.

Awesome VRBO for skiing at Thunder Ridge

Great location and house

We appreciate being able to bring our dogs along. I think that staying in the summer would be even better... it was too cold to take advantage of the kayaks and beach passes. We hope to be back!

Great Lake Getaway

A couple of small issues other than downstairs bed being sunk in… other than that we very happy with our accommodations. The master was amazing!

Comfy place and good location
Publié le 20 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a great stay. Beware, lots of steps up to property if that’s an issue for guests. Kitchen could use better silverware and some bowls and the dining table is tiny, only seats four. but other than that, everything was fine for a short stay.

Beautiful Fall Lake View

Fall colors were peak the week we were there and the view was amazing! The deck has nice furniture and enjoyed sitting outside everyday. We didn’t use the kayaks but would be fun next time.
Communication was very good with our host. I suggested more flatware & there were a few maintenance issues, like a creaky sticky door but hopefully that will get fixed before the next travelers. There are quite a few stairs to get inside the home but wasn’t an issue for us. Overall enjoyed our time at this comfortable home. Thank you!
