The units are run down, the front door had major gaps letting in cold night air, the bathroom is from the 60's and the plumbing is crumbling, the heater didn't work, the bed was sagging and had a light blanket in winter (ie, the room was freezing and there was no way to warm up). Went to a different hotel because it was not livable in December.

Perfect spot for exploring New Orleans. Situated in the French Quarter, but not on super noisy Bourbon St. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel is very well maintained with very polite and accessible staff. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was larger than many vacation homes in Aptos. Great choice - highly recommend.

Kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfortable and I really enjoyed the spa. We got a second floor balcony that faced Dauphine which was really nice but not quiet. My only concern about the room was that the balcony is shared and there is no lock on the window meaning that there is access to the room by the neighbor room. Overall the stay was nice and the location was brilliant for getting around the quarter.
