Algiers Point is the second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. It is situated right across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter. The Point is a historic tight-knit community. The unique neighborhood has a beach town vibe (minus the beach). There are wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars walking distance from the studio.

Algiers Point has a rhythm all its own - quieter than the Quarter, but deeply rooted in New Orleans soul. From this ground-floor loft, tree-lined streets and historic shotgun houses set the scene, while the Mississippi River glimmers just a short stroll away. It's a base that earns its keep whether you're here to eat, explore, or simply exhale.

The space
Natural light moves through the open layout, connecting the sleeping area, living space, and kitchen into one cohesive, easy-living environment. Classic New Orleans architectural character blends with thoughtful, comfortable interiors. Room-darkening shades, extra pillows and blankets, and a plush king bed dressed in fresh cotton linens make winding down just as enjoyable as heading out.

Kitchen & dining
The full kitchen is stocked for real cooking - a Whirlpool electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, toaster, drip coffee maker, and hot water kettle are all here, along with cooking basics, dishes and silverware, wine glasses, a baking sheet, and even a supply of coffee. Pull up a seat at the dining table for a home-cooked meal, or prep a quick bite before catching the ferry.

Entertainment & workspace
A 65" HDTV gives you access to HBO Max, Apple TV, Chromecast, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video. For something more analog, a record player and curated vinyl crate are ready to set the mood, alongside a selection of books. Fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace - a desk in the common area - make remote work or trip planning straightforward.

Bathroom & essentials
The private bathroom includes a stand-up shower along with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel. A hair dryer, iron, hangers, and clothing storage round out the practical essentials.

Getting around
The $2 ferry to the French Quarter is an easy walk from the front door, putting Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street jazz clubs, and the rest of the city within quick reach. Local cafés, Barracuda tacos, and river views are all within strolling distance. Free parking is available both on the premises and on the street.

Good to know
This is a pet-friendly loft - your well-behaved companions are welcome. Self check-in is handled via smart lock. The home is single-level, centrally air-conditioned and heated, and equipped with a ceiling fan, exterior security camera at the entry door, smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit. Luggage drop-off and long-term stays are both accommodated.

Please note: No parties, no unregistered guests, and no smoking. Any attempt to host a party of any kind will result in immediate termination of the stay with no refund.
