Room was very run down and was grubby, we were given an easy access room which is fine however lots of the handrails were dirty and the room in general was in poor condition

Comfortable stay yet disappointed with service

The Hotel was comfortable and the location was really great. The disappointing part was that there were no Shower Gels in room. Even after repeated reminders to the services, we were never provided with the shower gel. The room service needs to be improved. I am still rating it as Good as all other services were fine.

Convenient and Clean some rooms a little Tired

Ideal for events at The Arena or anywhere in Newcastle. Very conveient for the railway station. Reception, Bar and Breakfast good but some of the rooms quite small and ageing a little

This property 10 from city centre, Eldonsquare, ten minutes from the utilita arena 10 mins from station. Busy hotel.

The hotel is nice. All areas from the lobby and the bar to the bedrooms with ensuite are very clean and spacious. 3 lifts (elevators) and all work, with a good space for 8 people to stand in without issue. The parking is over the road, not on the hotel grounds. For long term parking it is £14 for 10-24 hours or £30 for 5 days. The hotel has a ticket that will give a discount off the parking, whether it works for the longer stays, I don't know, but it knocked £3 off our ticket price from £14 down to £11. I have lactose intolerance and the bar was able to provide soy milk for a cup of tea/coffee. The bed is comfy, firm but nice and the pillows are plump. It is a short walk to town, and a short walk to the stations. We didn't have food on site as we wanted a breakfast boa bun (5 mins walk) and dimsum (less than 10 min walk to Chinatown). No issues, all the staff are friendly and very helpful. We would stay again.
