Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. This is a great, lower-budget resort with lots of kid-friendly amenities walking distance from the beach. The rooms could use a little updating and the elevator situation is not ideal (lots of waiting) but overall a good stay for a quick getaway!

Room had plenty of sleeping space, including a Murphy bed and a sleeper sofa. Only two things I feel could have made it better as this is the first time I've stayed in a one bedroom and I was unaware that the one bedrooms don't have a washer and dryer and the pressure in the shower was very strong

Had a great time

We had a wonderful time! Have stayed at The Baywatch Resort several times. The only thing I didn’t like was the laundry facilities. We only had a 1 bedroom so no washer/dryer. The laundry is run by a third party company that doesn’t maintain very well. I had to clean as much as I could out of the dryer under the filter to get our clothes to dry. Other than that my daughter grandsons and I had a great time!

Staff is unpleasant, unprofessional and goes out if the way to make you feel uncomfortable if you ask for anything. The rooms and property are not maintained. The is the short version of the terrible experience my family had with room and staff.

Condo was excellent, very clean and comfortable!

Resort was not as terrific as the condo was. Bar staff not friendly and website apparently "not updated" since last fall said staff, because menu items were not offered as well as prices and hours not current. Check in and check out were nightmares! I don't know why staggered times are not given. Guests, staff and security smoking on property even though it's a non smoking facility. Actual condo was wonderful!

Beachfront condo

The location and views were great. Clean pools with multiple choices. Great access to the beach. Allowed for early check in when available. We were told that we could check in early if our room was ready. Check in process took forever and there were several people with our last name so when we inquired several times we were told that our room was not ready but when I went to the desk at 4:00 for regular check in I was informed that our room had been ready for a while but there was some confusion with my last name. This was after each person had been told my full name and shown my id. Otherwise stay was good.

We had a wonderful time! Great weather! Close to all activities we needed. Many great pools and restaurants on sight. Our unit was great for us, needed more towel racks and hooks.

Great location.

I loved the location, the fact there was a pool on the property. I have two cons to staying here. The room smelled kind of like mold and the top lock to the door was broken. Which was a huge thing for us since we have a 6 year old on the spectrum and is nonverbal. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and made the very most out of it.

Great place to stay

We have stayed in Bay Watch resort several times over the last 25 years. We have enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna, and lazy river that most resorts do not offer. We sit on the balcony day and night and enjoy the sound of the ocean and breeze. We like the fact that it is in North Myrtle Beach which is not as busy as Myrtle Beach itself. There are plenty of golf courses around that we enjoy. I recommend Bay Watch resorts to anyone looking for a good place to stay.
