Avis Cobblestone, Fall waterfront escape near Bruce Trail

Fantastic location for hiking the Bruce Trail and surrounding parks. Short drive to Tobermory and Lion’s Head PP.

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage with a best view of the Georgian Bay! Cottage was clean with all the required items. We were also lucky to see northern lights ! Special thanks to the hosts for the wine and chocolate ;)

Amazing property with lots of space to spread out. Appreciated a/c in basement only so that guests could choose a/c or not. Loved fully equipped kitchen with paper products, tin foil, wrap included! The only things we reached for that we didn’t find were a garlic press and steak knives. Enjoyed our welcome treat of gourmet chips and wine under the pergola upon our arrival. Made s’mores on a fire on the beach - fire pit already there and fire permit already registered to the cottage. If you book - be aware of no cell service. However there is a landline in the cottage. We were able to iMessage friends and family and communicate through email - great for really tapping out. Wifi worked well for the most part but band width not super. Had to limit usage to less than three people at a time to have consistent connectivity. Smart tv was awesome with Netflix and Amazon Prime. Concierge was very quick to respond to every question. Feedback has been provided regarding hard water build up on dishware. Hoping that’s addressed before next guests arrive. Our yellow Labrador retriever Bo absolutely LOVED full access to the water and we used the two kayaks (with life vests) included with property. Will definitely book again!

Beautiful view of Lake Huron right out the back, chilling on the muskoka chairs to take it in was a favourite activity. Very easy check-in process. We had run out of propane a day or so into the trip and the management company responded to an email within minutes, and had a second propane tank within 30 minutes - incredible response rate.
