"The staff were lovely, everywhere was spotless. The pool area was nice, they were mending paving slabs when we were there but it did not affect anything. Bar was comfortable and drinks were cheap, loved the happy hour, £2 a wine, what’s not to love. Location was perfect, view of the marina with good restaurants and bars, bust station across the road, train station at the side of hotel, supermarket 5 minutes away, and 5 minute walk to a fabulous beach."

"Great staff and ocean view room was perfect. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Garage is very small and be sure to reserve if you need parking. Also, entrance is not accessible by car. Call ahead for instructions."

"This is a beautiful place to stay. The breakfast choice is outstanding. We had a suite which was so comfortable. I have stayed here before and it is something special. One little criticism- we arrived and it was not raised do you have suitcases? There were suitcase trollies at the reception and a male seated at the desk. But it was down to us to bring in our suitcases from a distance and get to our rooms. "
