Your perfect getaway for reenergising in a beautiful setting! We instantly felt at home, the house has been beautifully decorated and everything you need is there! The hosts are amazing, very friendly and communication was perfect. A total must-stay!

Perfect quiet location, serene and a wonderful change from the Algarve where we have a house. We enjoyed the house, the pool and exploring the area. Santa Clara Dam, canoeing on the Mira River in Odemira. Beaching in Milfontes and Porto Covo : all recommended and easy to get to. So beautiful driving around among the olive and cork trees ! Would certainly return.

The true nature of Portugal

A lovely quiet location and it was an absolute delight to have stayed at this lovely house. We both had a lovely relaxing time and our privacy was fully respected throughout the whole stay and we both managed to regenerate our batteries away from our normal working lives hence why we choose this location for this purpose. The mornings and evenings were very special watching the sun rise and sun set over the rolling hills which were surprising green for the time of year we stayed. The night sky not influenced by artificial light bring the stars to there full glory. Simply a great setting of the true nature that Portugal has to offer. The house itself was fully equipped and nothing was missing what so ever and we personally cannot think of anything that should be considered as an additional requirement. Very clean, good beds and bedding with full utilities and accessories at hand. One can see the personal touch that the owner wishes for the well being of her guests and has gone to great lengths to provide this. Also communication between the owner and ourselves was was good and very informative. Shopping is approximately a 20 minute drive and the main supermarkets in Odemira have all to offer and we cooperated this with out trips out. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing location and no stress then I would recommend this house to anyone who fits into this category. Thank you Berenice

A truly restful holiday

A very quiet house in a typical Monte Alentejano, so well kept. Comfortable with all you need to spend a restful holiday if you are looking for a space that feels remote but it's within reasonable traveling distance from the beach and southern Portugal. Definitely recommend it and hope to come back. Perfect for a family of 8 and we found June a good month as it's not too hot. Thank you Berenice for sharing this lovely property. We miss it already.

Cosy, enchanting rural property away from it all

Overall well maintained property in rural Portugal ca. 35min from the beeches. The plot is beautiful and well suited to a summer holiday, lots of shadow from the trees, several sheltered sitting areas. Excellent area for cycling and running. The house is warm enough in winter and there is enough wood for the wood burner. The area seems to be in a microclimate, with fog and mist 50% of our stay, whereas Odemira and the coast would be benefiting from uninterrupted sunshine. Probably more of an issue in winter though. The kitchen is well maintained with a good choice of spices, plenty of cooking equipment. Table and chairs are too high, wobbly and therefore not children friendly, a small stool for kids to be able to assist with cooking would have been nice. The pool is suited for larger kids but not for smaller ones. Recommended for people enjoying quiet, remote countryside.

Wir waren rundum glücklich am Monte Labarito, Berenice und Ingo sind tolle Gastgeber, Shirley hat sich vor Ort rührend gekümmert. Die Anfahrtsbeschreibung war sehr präzise. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Haus und die Lage sind wunderbar, im und ums Haus gibt es reichlich behaglich eingerichtete Plätze zum Verweilen. Die absolute Ruhe und die duftend schöne Luft sorgten für reichlich Entspannung. Ein Sprung in den Pool brachte Erfrischung. Die Strände und Hafenstädte in der Nähe sind lohnende Ausflugsziele. Wir können diese Unterkunft allen Naturliebhabern empfehlen.

Es war wundervoll...

Das Haus der der Traum. Es ist alles so schön dort, so liebevoll eingerichtet, dass man sich einfach nur wohl fühlen kann. Die Betten sind herrlich ( sehr wichtig, gute Matratzen) und die Bettwäsche auch. Die offene Küche und die Terrasse auf der man den ganzen Tag verbringen kann sind super schön gestaltet, ebenso wie der Garten samt Pool. Zum Meer braucht man ungefähr 30 Minuten, oder länger, je nachdem wo man hinwill. Wir haben es aber erstaunlich wenig vermisst, wenn wir nicht jeden Tag da waren, weil der Ort einfach so schön ist und man da sofort komplett tiefenentspannt. Wir hatten eine herrliche Zeit und werden sicher noch mal wieder kommen. Danke

Top Haus, Top Service

Das Haus und Grundstück sind sehr schön und in einem tadellosen Zustand. Sogar noch schöner als aus den Bildern hervorgeht. An Ausstattung ist alles da, was man sich wünschen kann. Sowohl im Vorfeld als auch während des Aufenthalts haben uns die Vermieter ausgezeichnet mit Informationen versorgt und es gab jederzeit einen erreichbaren Ansprechpartner. Fragen wie "Wo steht der Hochstuhl?" wurden unkompliziert und schnell über WhatsApp geklärt. Die Lage ist etwas abseits und dadurch sehr ruhig. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ca. 20 Minuten entfernt, daher empfiehlt es sich Einkäufe wenigstens auf ein paar Tage zu planen. Man bekommt dort aber alles was man auch nur brauchen kann. Insgesamt eine sehr tolle Erfahrung. Mit dem super Service meine mit Abstand beste Mieterfahrung bisher. Jederzeit wieder!

Het huis is prachtig, groot en zeer compleet ingericht. Geweldig uitzicht over de omringende heuvels. Fijn zwembad. Wij vonden de prikkelvrije omgeving geweldig!

Very nice stay in a quiet place

The property has everything you need and it is a quiet place perfect to relax. Communication with the host was always quick and easy, any request was handled almost real time. A perfect place to stay with the family and visit the surroundings.

Beautiful and peaceful place

The house is located in a hilltop, isolated from other houses. It is amazingly quite. In clear nights, there is a wonderful view of the starry sky. We were seven, six adults and a baby, and we stayed for a full week. We had a great time. The house is decorated nicely. The owner responded promptly to our requests, as did Katrin and Alex. The place is ideal to rest, chat with family and friends, immerse in the small pool, read, eat, and relax.
