Cozy retreat: 1 mile from Old Forge. Close to all nature. Dog friendly.

Come enjoy the perfect blend of privacy and convenience in our sparkling 1500 sf log home. You'll be nestled on 3 secluded acres, but with all the conveniences and fun of downtown Old Forge close by. Truly the ideal place to rest, reconnect, and play.

Full week only in July and August: Saturday 3PM to Saturday 10AM. All else 3 day minimum.

HOME FEATURES:
- 3 bedrooms: 1 large master with king bed and full bathroom; and 2 good-sized bedrooms (1 queen bed, the other with full bed and bunk bed) sharing a bathroom.
- Inviting living room with spacious entertaining area.
- Kitchen opens to living area. Huge island for food service.
- Laundry on main floor.
- Upstairs only.
- Wood stove does not function properly so we have it locked (ventilation)

NOTE: Well-behaved dogs welcome. We do charge an additional $75 cleaning fee to ensure that our home will be as fur and odor-free for the next guest as it was for you! :)

Spent a week at this beautiful home with family. House is very clean, well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and bedding in the rooms. Jody and Brian were very responsive and friendly. The location is woodsy and very close to Old Forge and Inlet. We had plenty of space for 3 vehicles and jet skis. There is also access to a private dock and beach. We loved our time here and would definitely stay again in the future. Thank You!

We had the best time! This house is perfect for a family vacation. The house was very clean, like super duper clean!! This had the best kitchen ever! We love to cook and this was a cooks dream kitchen. My husband wants the same kitchen in our next house. This was close to town but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town noise. Easy drive to anything you might want to do. The beds were very comfortable and the couch was the talk of the stay. Everyone wants that furniture now hahaha. Thank you for letting us stay it was wonderful. My son’s dog had the best time too. Perfect dog walking trails at the house. Easy everything

Fall Greatness

The property is just as pictured. Loved the Adirondack feel with all the furniture. Kitchen is very spacious and well equipped. Bedrooms also were very spacious. We all loved the comfortable couches in living area. Our party included four adults and two children. Plenty of room for everyone. Will definitely return!

Fall weekend in Old Forge

This was the perfect place for us. The house is extremely clean and is in a great location. It’s just a couple minutes from downtown Old Forge and there is many places to hike nearby. 100% recommend staying here.

Very nice stay

This was a very nice cabin. Everything was set up well and was very clean. We had a fire at the fire ring one night, saw some deer that were virtually tame, enjoyed watching the chipmunks and squirrels, and relaxed around the cabin when we weren't busy in Old Forge.

Fourth Time as Amazing as the First

This was our fourth stay at this property and it was another amazing stay. The home is just beautiful and perfect for our family. We also have family that stays in the nearby campground when we come to town and this home has plenty of space for us to host them for meals and playing games. The location is perfect because you are surrounded by woods but only a minute from town.Jody and Brian are so kind and helpful and this is definitely our home away from home.

We had a great week away in our favorite area to visit. The cabin was cozy with a giant kitchen and plenty of cookware that we made food all week. The boys lived the bunk beds and we enjoyed the layout of the cabin so the sleeping was not disturbed by laundry.Great place to stay that is well maintained

Family reunion

We attended a family reunion in Inlet and this was the perfect spot for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely secluded camp in Old Forge. The cabin was comfortable for our family for the week. The kitchen had everything we needed for our trip. We appreciated Jody's quick responses to questions. But most of all, the beds were comfortable for our backs. That was wonderful. I highly recommend this property!!!!

Perfection in Old Forge

This property is amazing. Great log cabin that is spacious and affordable. Plenty of land for small hiking with kids or dogs and fire pit area. Another bonus is the porch sitting up high and relaxing views. Great access to Trail 4 for hiking and a short walk to the water on Hollywood.
