Great stay - Old Orchard Beach

Overall great stay.. I would suggest a few things: 1) Some info at the house for guests - Garbage rules if any, things to do in the area, local shops / restaurants, etc. On our last day, after wondering if we needed to do anything before we left, we got an email on this. Knowing in advance would be great. 2) Maybe leave a few garbage bags, salt/pepper, etc. for guests. No guest staying for 3 to 4 days will likely buy these things. Just some simple feedback.

Thanks Sheldon! I am sorry you missed the binder under the tv with our restaurant recommendations and our best Things to See and Do. We also send an email with house information including trash, wifi password, the lock code, etc. We can add this info to the binder too. Thanks for the feedback! Liz

Perfect place for us to stay for our daughters wedding. Weather cleared up and we had a beautiful stay. House is bigger then we expected. So clean and had everything we needed. Easy access, tv in every room, ac in every room. Really the perfect house. Thank you for making the weekend even more perfect for us. 😊

Great place. Quite neighborhood and it was nice to have our own space. After years of going to motels it was a nice change to have a house to be in.

Nice place and easy access to beach and local towns!

We enjoyed our stay, and the place was clean. The only issue was with the wash machine. Need to bring your own as the tablets did not work when we used it. Maybe some supplies with bags as we left a few for future stayers. Local groceries store you have to bring your own bags or purchase them. We added a few staple supplies as if you want to cook and all you will need to bring your own seasonings. Other than that, very nice place to stay and would recommend for future renters!

Thanks for the valuable feedback! So helpful. The washing machine has been fixed. It was an issue with the circuit. And yes! We can add shopping tote bags for people to do their shopping! Not sure why we didn't think of it, but it's a great idea. Consider it done. However, just so you (and everyone else knows), grocery stores DO provide bags. All Stores do. Just that there is a 5 cent fee charged. It is Maine's way of being more environmentally conscious. It encourages folks to use reusable shopping totes. Glad you enjoyed the house and the beach and thank you for the great (and helpful) review. Liz

Thank you for your feedback Jon. I know you enjoyed your stay. Three stars is rough for those of us in the short-term rental business. It brings down our ratings for this home overall, not to mention our company rating. And further, I don't think it reflects how you really felt about the home. Barefoot Temple is a great house. It has been completely renovated and is well stocked with everything one would need for a beach vacation. I know you had a good time and would come back. We would be happy to have you back!
