Views from every room
Publié le 5 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThis property was perfect for our family getaway. There are views of the water and neighboring islands from every room. We made the short walk down to our private beach area every day and watched boats go by every afternoon. We saw seals and otters in the water, watched bald eagles fly over and saw deer daily on our drives. Close to Rosario resort area and Moran State Park. Nice to spread out a bit with 2 teens who each had space to themselves. Beds, bedding and towels were high quality - we all slept so well! My only suggestions: have at least 2 keys in the lockbox. Since the doors all lock behind you when you close them, it would be nice to have a spare! And maybe a few beach towels in case guests want to swim in the lakes. Otherwise, our stay was perfect. We would definitely stay again!

Family Vacation on Orcas
Publié le 17 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayIt was great. The property is better than the pictures. The prictures come across dated. We found it to be better than expected. The challenges we had was the house phone would not work correctly or reliably. This was not corrected during the stay. We understand that internet can be a challenge on the island but the phone issue was not expected. This property is perfect for three couples.

Last minute problem

When we got there, we discovered a note informing us that the shower handle in the master bath didn’t work and would not be repaired until the following week. There was no offer to discount our stay which would have been appropriate. I couldn’t use the deep bath tub, since I have had recent surgery, so I had to wash off using the sink. The shower didn’t work well in one of the other bedrooms either. This was very disappointing.

5 day Family vacation
Publié le 17 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayEasy to find, beautiful vista, next to the shore, easy path to reach rocky beach, beautiful house and upscale furnishings, kitchen stocked very well. Lots of room, very comfortable beds and couch, chair. Large deck, patio table and cushioned chairs, propane grill. Absolutely ideal vacation home! We loved it!

Beautiful, peaceful location
Publié le 11 août 2022 sur HomeAwayA great house in a very private and beautiful location. The bedroom setup was perfect for us, and it was a huge plus that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The views from the home were incredible and we saw bald eagles, otters, squirrels, fish jumping, and one person thought they saw Orcas swimming by. The path down to the beach was a little tricky for our older family members (75 and 79 years old) but they still made it down and up. One small nit pick: they could use an update on the pots and pans (many were scratched), and I think the deck might need updating pretty soon. And it would have been nice if the outdoor furniture was a little cleaner. But those are all minor issues - we had an amazing stay at this property!

Great vacation spot
Publié le 9 avr. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay and have already discussed returning. One fantastic draw to this house is the beach access. We brought our kayak and we were able to take it down. The house is perfect for multiple families as the master suite is on the opposite side of the two other bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Not featured in the photos is a nice reading nook. We had an enjoyable stay with wonderful views.

Relaxing quiet vacation spot
Publié le 20 oct. 2021 sur HomeAwayQuiet, sheltered comfortable home with large windows overlooking the small beach and tree studded coastal waters. Eagles, otters, and watercraft. Comfortable eat-in kitchen overlooking the deck. Adjacent family room also overlooking deck. Comfortable beds. Walking paths very close. We ended up staying in most days - so content to be sheltered in the natural beauty of this location.

A slice of Heaven!
Publié le 25 juin 2021 sur HomeAwayThis property was spectacular. The house itself was well designed, super comfy and well equipped to meet all our needs. The cries were spectacular. It was so restorative and relaxing being there. Location was a little remote but we took lovely long walks from the property and hikes were a short car ride away. Since our goal was to relax on property this did not matter much. We could easily have stayed another week. Thank you!

Idyllic family getaway
Publié le 14 avr. 2021 sur HomeAwayBeautiful property as advertised. Kids could go down to the beach safely by themselves. We saw otters swimming daily and had a hummingbird so close we could almost touch it. We will definitely return
