Never again. Check-in on 3rd floor, no signs, sign for lobby in elevator, can’t use elevator without room key. Carried heavy bags up two flights of steps. Bar/restaurant service terrible. Out of beer on first night there, server at dinner totally ignored us after delivering menus, another server served us after realizing we were being ignored. There was only one other table occupied. Took 1.5 hours and had to track down server to get our check. Very nice hotel with some very nice staff members…some were rude. Free breakfast was good, don’t recommend the coffee creamer or yogurt. BTW, I am not one to normally complain, this was just not a pleasant experience.

Dear John,Thank you for feedback.Would like to clarify that in fact there are 2 sings on the first floor addressing the hotel lobby and by the parking area as well, the color may be changed to avoid the first impression.The fact of the key in the elevator is due to safety issues, that is why coming to common areas does not need key. Aruba is very safe; however this is going as standard in Hyatt properties.Your feedback is very important to our staff.Receive our apologies for the experience mentioned below, we are focusing in training our new members very hard.

This is a great property if you need to stay one or two extra nights before or after your stay in Aruba. Free breakfast and very friendly staff are a perk. Hotel is newer and modern, but cleanliness was lacking with unknown substances on the walls in bathroom and next to bed and multiple hairs found in room on check in. Be aware taxi minimum is $21 to drive less than 2 miles to downtown under 7 minutes. Hotel is at the airport so perfect to walk over to the airport on your way out of the country.

The staff was cordial and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. I had a wonderful time and a great experience. Very small issue was the carpet in the room. The carpet had an odor and was old and discolored. The room would look and smell so much better without the carpet.

No hot water & 2 hour wait for food/drinks!

Absolutely awful! Checked in for the night and check-in was smooth, Mohamed was great. However the staff failed to tell us there was no hot water!!! We got to our room which smelt of damp. At this point we didn’t realise no hot water, we just put baggage down and went for some food in the bar. Ordered food and waited 2 hours! Yep 2 hours. We weren’t the only ones as all customers were waiting for food & drinks. Eventually got our food and the curly fries were just the chip ends that be left in the bottom of the bag - deep fried and served! As we went bag to our room there was a letter to inform us that there was no hot water. Apparently this had been the case for 2 days but we were not told at check-in. Breakfast - no English breakfast tea. Breakfast choice was ok. Would not stay here or recommend this hotel. Very disappointing for a Hyatt at £425 a night!

I was looking forward to spending my birthday in Aruba. I was very disappointed in the hotel. I took the shuttle into downtown and was told I would be picked up. The shuttle never showed. I had to pay $24 back to the hotel. Also, there was no hot water for the last day and a half of my trip. I was refunded for one night but I should’ve been refunded for the half day. It is almost 90 degrees in Aruba and I was not able to take a shower. The staff were rude and acted as if I had done something wrong. Never will I stay here again!

Very bad experience staying there. The room was tiny and had a strong new furniture smell. There was no hot water for shower( only lukewarm) and it seems that we were not the only one had this issue. Swimming pool was very dirty. The front desk staff lacked efficiency and not very friendly. The worst dinner experience. Took 1hr or even longer for the simple food to arrive, and the waitress got our order wrong two times. When we were checking out, they tried to put someone else’s bar order to our tab… good we argued against it. The only good thing I could say is the breakfast was good. We do not recommend this hotel at all.

I was very happy by the way the staff treats me at Hyatt place , her name is candy , her warm ness was felt from the heart , I was very please and felt like family , this was my first time there and I am sure I’ll return , thanks again to the staff at Hyatt place , especially to Candy , I will always remember my first visit to Aruba and how I was treated
