No restaurant available although one about 8 minute drive. Pizza de lead an option. Coffee available in morning. Clean, comfy bed. So close to Vetta Spa it was perfect,

I had a great visit and good time with my friend. I enjoyed sitting by the fire Pitt meeting new people. The things that was not great about my stay is on the patio outside there was racoon poop that was not cleaned up, the baby pool was not working and the bbq was broken and there was not propper bbq utensils. It would be great if a bbq brush is provided etc but overall enjoyed my stay.

Very disappointed that we booked this place, wish we had known there were zero amenities at the “resort” There is nothing to do at this place, so be prepared to be bored or sleep. Will never again stay at this place. FYI, all amenities are at horseshoe resort or you have to drive there. Receptionist did not have much customer

Property was ok. But they seem to have long time staying guests that worked in construction nearby. Dirty pick up trucks and “fighting stares” does not evoke family friendly atmosphere. The property looks dated and in terrible need of maintenance. Our bathroom looked clean at first glance but upon further inspection, had massive amounts of mold and mildew growing in the bathroom wall including areas around the door and the shower. We stayed for 4 days, and fresh towels were not exchangeable. TV was 32” and were limited as it was not a smart tv where you can watch Netflix or even YouTube. Overall good location but very old and dated inside the suite. It also doesn’t help that neighbours upstairs can get loud and foot steps can wake you up in the morning. Not to mention your immediate neighbor next door will share the same entrance/exit. So when they are going out or you are going out…you have to time it so you don’t bump or literally ran into each other. I feel like this can easily get resolved by not booking people together.

I booked this hotel for the second time because I was pleased with my first stay. At 3:15 p.m., I asked the receptionist, Janet, if I could check in. She asked for my name but didn’t request any ID. She then told me the room was still “dirty”—and she even prolonged the word when she said it. I said that was fine and told her to just let me know when it was ready, as I would be waiting in the lobby. About 10 minutes later, three guests arrived to check in. Janet assisted one of them and asked for a piece of ID. The other two (couple) were helped by a different receptionist. Janet looked over at me and seemed to notice that I was upset. After the couple had finished checking in, she finally told me I could check in and that the next receptionist would assist me. What surprised me was that Janet didn’t even check the computer to see if my room was ready—she was just standing there. I believe the room had already been available earlier, but she simply didn’t want to let me in at 3:15 p.m. When I finally got the room, I was disappointed. The toilet bowl wasn’t properly cleaned, and the bed sheets were itchy. Since this hotel has one main door for every two rooms, I could constantly hear the neighboring guests going in and out, slamming the door repeatedly. Between 10:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., there were also loud kids making noise. Overall, I’m totally disappointed with my second stay here.
