Clean, spacious and private
Publié le 19 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great stay. The house isn’t very far from Pagosa and was an easy drive into Durango as well. The property is in a neighborhood, but feels very private, especially the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. You’ll definitely want 4WD or AWD to get in and out of the driveway if the weather is wet at all.

Vacasa local management team dont care of issues
Publié le 21 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayGot there and was dog hair on all couches dining chairs and armchairs.
Then as time passes more and more issues:
1. Cleaning was lacking, vacuum full of hair. We had to buy supplies to clean the couches, chairs and wioenoff greasy kitchen handles.
2. Master bedroom heater not working
3. Grill filfthy, we had to clean it ourselves
4. Coffee maker broken
5. Mouse running in the living at evening time
6. Water not working in the whole house the morning of checking out
Reached out to Vacasa (customer service for VRBO or local management team). They always reply thank you for reporting we will anouce the local team. Never got ever fixed. We had to do ourselves what we could. The management team dont care of the house or guests. The owner must be aware that their house is being abused by the rental company.
I asked for a partial refund because I didnt get the experience it was advertised to me, bur no response other the the usual run around answer: “ we will let you know when we have any updates on this." But then you never hear from them.
Do yourself a favor and stay away of this property, you will thank me.

The location was so peaceful, certainly dog friendly (they had many little extras for our dog), and sitting on the deck was our favorite part.

Great family getaway property!
Publié le 24 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayEverything was as described and property was well maintained. The property was the perfect location for our family vacation lodging with plenty of room for the kids to have their space while relaxing.
It was HOT in Colorado while we were there, so working AC was critical. I was happy to discover that the ACs in this cabin worked REALLY well and we were never hot. Each bedroom has its own wall mounted AC with its own control and the main living area has one as well.
The hot tub was great at the end of our long days of hiking and horseback riding and was always at the right temp when we went to use it. Some of the headrests were missing, but it wasn't really an issue for us.
The road from the highway to the property is a dirt / gravel road, so keep this in mind if you prefer to not drive on those. It is well maintained and I drive a truck, so we had no problems.
As others have mentioned, the driveway is a bit steep, so I can see it being difficult to get into when wet or icy, but neither of those were a factor for us.
Also, remember that this is a pet friendly rental, so if you are bothered by stains on carpet (no odors or etc), this may not be the rental for you.
Be sure to stop at the corner on the way in / out of the neighborhood and check out the prairie dogs! They're extremely cute and my family was fascinated with them.
Overall, this was a great vacation property and would definitely consider staying here again if in the Pagosa Springs area.

Nice place with room to stretch your legs a bit

Dog toys and dog bowls were a nice touch.
We used the hot tub after a very long hike. Sweet!

Hot tub
Publié le 28 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwaySpacious beautiful home with beautiful views. The hot tub was nice and relaxing, however there was no chlorine or shock treatment, so it started to smell bad. I called to ask if there was any shock and was told that maintenance takes care of the hot tub. Unfortunately we weren't able to enjoy the hot tub our last day/ night
