A 1930s Palm Springs adobe with old-school bones and a sharp, modern edge. We kept the good stuff, exposed adobe-brick walls, open-beam gabled ceilings and layered in the upgrades: luxury finishes, sleek appliances, and all the little things that make staying in feel like going out.

The Speakeasy Hotel is in a perfect location to sample all that Palm Springs has to offer. Everything is super close. Our bed was so comfortable. The kitchen was nicely appointed with quality cookware. It was clean and welcoming with nice touches of shampoo, coffee and paper towels to get us started. Rick the host is very friendly and 10/10 on communication and responsiveness.

Love, love, love this property and its owners! This was the second visit for my husband and myself and it most certainly will not be our last. Rick is a terrific host and takes pride in his property as well as in the contentment of his renters. The accommodations are immaculate, extremely comfortable, totally secure, and conveniently located to the heart of Palm Springs proper with all its restaurants and shops. If you choose to stay in rather than go out, the kitchen is wonderfully complete with all you need to whip up meals to enjoy in a leisurely atmosphere. With its lovely pool area and mid-century Euro vibe, we enjoyed the secluded nature of the property layout and appreciated that the total number of guests is limited to 10. It feels like a private retreat and, being only two hours away from our home, it’s the perfect long weekend getaway. We look forward to returning very soon.

Location, location, location is correct!

This cottage was absolutely adorable. Perfect for my husband and me. There are a ton of thoughtful touches throughout the cottage and I was shocked that the kitchen was equipped to actually prepare meals. We had a slight issue with the front gate lock after returning from dinner, but we would definitely come back and stay again.

Chic cottage

My husband and I had the best time in Palm Springs! This little cottage is adorable and it is a great location to downtown and beautiful hiking in the area. We really enjoyed the pool in the afternoons and getting to know the other guests staying at the cottages. The bed was comfortable, and the decor is perfection! Highly recommend staying here.

Amazing stay in Pam Springs!!!

Rick and Gary’s place was amazing! We were a group of 4 adults in Palm Springs for two weeks. Their place was impeccably clean and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was stocked well. We cooked dinner a couple of times as well as breakfast and had everything we needed.Their place is in close proximity to all that Palm Springs has to offer. Suggestions we offer would be to add more kitchen towels and coffee pods to the hotel room.The pool was clean and amazingly warm! We enjoyed our stay at Rick and Gary’s and definitely plan on returning!

Place is as described. very cute and clean. Pool and hot tub were both clean and heated.Living room floor was weird and saggy, but didn't affect our enjoyment of the property. Very thin walls between the bedroom and the neighbor, could clearly hear them talking in normal voices. Otherwise no complaints, would stay again.

Lovely Bungalow in the Heart of Palm Springs!

My husband, adult son, and I rented this sweet bungalow for a quick two-day getaway from Los Angeles County. Clean, quiet, and beautifully appointed with all the necessary creature comforts, we loved the location along with the vintage Palm Springs vibe of the property. With only two other rental units nestled around a sparkling pool, we found the entire experience to be the perfect weekend of relaxation we were hoping for. We appreciated the private locked entrance to our own courtyard and unit as well as all the security provided on site. Rick was a gracious and accommodating host and we look forward to booking this property again for a much longer stay in the near future.

Fantastic mid century eclectic apartment

So this is my third time staying here. Rick is the single most attentive host ever. This is so perfectly appointed with top of the line everything. It’s beautiful inside and out. When the sun goes down the pool area lights and antique signs make it magical. Will be back soon.
