Classic design in perfect location

Elegantly designed house in best neighborhood, close to main street. Patios on both sides to catch the sun, very close to the mountains. A perfect stay for six people.

The property is exceptional in every way, The location is perfect and the Las Palmas neighbourhood is quiet and relaxing. Close to the hikes, walking distance to the restaurants and perfectly clean, well provisioned and beautifully presented mid century gem.

Dream Stay

Loved the authentic mid modern design of the house! Plenty of space and amenities. Very clean. Great location! Did not like that we could not use the house front door. Every time in and out was thru the garage. Disappointed we could not use the fireplace since it was definitely the weather for it.

Feces in the pool

Rented house specifically for pool. Pool had human feces in it when we arrived. We saw pool gate wouldn’t latch Prop mgr sent pool co to clean it, he warned us not to get in it. Fearing for safety and health, we left. Prop mgr said they had other houses, wouldn’t relocate us. On phone for hours with VRBO, who didn’t honor Book With Confidence guarantee.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was perfect. We had some electrical issues in the beginning. The only way to enter the house is through a key pad in the garage. Our second day the key pad shut down and we could not get in the house. Acme did respond and they needed to switch out the batteries. We had to wait outside for over an hour and it was 100 degrees. I suggest giving a key up front as well. Also the hot tub was not working nor the pool lights at night and it was over the weekend so it was a bummer. They did send an electrician out the following Monday and by Tuesday everything was working. Also there was a huge stain on the living room sofa which was kinda gross so we did not use that sofa during our stay. I had reached out to Acme prior to our stay to ask if there would be any issues with the house since we just wanted to enjoy our vacation. I know things happen and some things can't be helped but clearly they did not do a walk through prior to our stay. Acme did respond quickly to our issues . I was glad we were there for an extended stay because if it was just the first weekend it would not have been a pleasant stay with all the issues. Oh and the mats leading into the house were dirty so I put them off to the side as to not track dirt into house. They need new door mats. The Manager and the owner did provide good customer service with all the issues.

Everything looks well taken care of or recently remodeled. There are nice views of the mountains and plenty of outdoor space. The pool was really warm which is nice with the cool mornings and evenings you experience in March. We would definitely recommend.

Three areas for improvement would make it even better: 1. Update the pool area with better outdoor furniture and re-paint the pool. 2. Allow guests to use the Front door, rather than the garage (or give guests a garage door opener). 3. Check the A/C in the master bedroom which was either too hot or too cold.

The home was welcoming from the moment we arrived, with music playing and lights on, to show off the property as it was meant to be seen. The kitchen was a joy to cook in, and the grill was easy to operate, and sparkling clean. The neighborhood is a peaceful, high end residential area, and we loved walking up to the coffee shops on Palm Canyon Drive in the mornings. ACME was very professional and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend both the property and ACME rentals, and would stay at the property again in a heartbeat! I feel that I should mention that the bedroom shades are not room darkening, and the sun is intense first thing in the morning. If you do not wish to wake up with the sun, bring your sleep mask!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is gorgeous inside and out. Great location and very well appointed with everything you will need to have an amazing vacation. Bathrooms and bedrooms are great size and comfortable. Kitchen is amazing as are the two living rooms!! The pool area is great but could use a pergola type area outside to get a break from the sunshine. Lots of seating areas on both patios. The only negatives were that a few things weren’t working including the bar/wine fridge, the garage door keypad to use the garage but these were minor issues. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and just might again next year!
