Service of hotel.com is bad

Nice place but could have been fun that hotels.com tell us that we have to check-in in another condo because we had to find it by ourself and it took us 2hours to find out how to checkin and when we got to find the place to check-in they told un that we have to put a 500$ CASH deposit.. But we are from canada and this place is in the usa.. So we didnt have the 500$ so we had to argue with the manager to be able to put the deposit on the credit card. The manager was super cool but when we called the service for hotels.com they were completely lost and they couldnt help us.. You can be sure i'll never rebook with hotels.com but i would go back to shores of panama condos.

Right on the beach with a private boardwalk where you can rinse off all the sand. Great views, close to some really good restaurants. Older building, but they kept it clean. Parking garage available, but the code keypad wasnt woking and our arm bands didn't work on the keypad.

The parking sucks, I drove a full-size pick-up and the back was sticking out. The room was clean and well-maintained. excellent view. all the elevators were working.

I like that fact everything was close the food the bar and the shops. It was a little confusing once arrived. Just the check in and check out. Plus i got the emails late for checking out and checking in. So I never got the instructions until I had already talked to the front desk.

The staff was friendly! BUT in the condo (S2101) the washing machine & dryer didn't work properly. I couldn't read the dials on the stove to tell what burner to turn on or the numbers to tell what setting it was on. Condo had not been cleaned properly. The floors were gritty and dust was under the furniture, also a toy from a previous renter. There was toothpaste on the door frame of the bathroom door and bathroom ceiling. Ceiling fans were caked up with dust. TV in the master bedroom did not work. The condo said it slept 8. I really don't see how they thought that. A cot and a couch I guess was supposed to sleep two people but would have suited 2 children rather than 2, 6ft 6 inch adults! This has nothing to do with the condo we rented but people on the balcony above us threw up and then rinsed there balcony off and chunks came down on our balcony and splatter got on stuff. Of course the elevators were a hassle as well. I have stayed in October and it was a little better with the elevators with less people.

Our condo Was nice, view was great. Elevators were TERRIBLE. Atleast 5-20 minute wait and they are unbelievably hot. It was like being in a sauna. Having assigned parking was nice but would have been better if assigned spot was on same floor as our room. Staff wasn’t very friendly
