The first room I went to have roaches and insects; they moved me then to a bigger room and the rooms were not clean. The room had a tub but the water stop was broken off and I couldn’t even enjoy the tub. The breakfast was very small in variety and not tasty. I will never return to this hotel

We had a lot of issues from no soap dispensers filled to the AC not working enough to cool the room. We canceled our reservation with the front desk, and they confirmed I could get a refund through Expedia and now they won’t answer their phone from Expedia to actually refund us. 100% don’t recommend after having to jump through hoops to still get the shaft from Faranda.

The front desk staff (all of them) were very friendly, helpful and responsive to our needs. Although there was a huge line-up to get checked in, we were able to leave our luggage (through a ticketing system) and return to check-in later. This was super helpful because we had nowhere to store them until the rooms were ready. We had a problem with the pipes in the bathroom and they got it fixed. The rooms are a little dated and the wifi didn't work in my room (but did just outside the room) but overall, the hotel was a good clean and safe. One thing to note is that the hotel is advertised as having airport transfer. This is not true. The hotel does not have any transfer to or from the airport. This was disappointing because it was one of the main reasons we booked here. This needs to be removed from the amenities. They serve a hearty complimentary breakfast (eggs-boiled and fried, sausage, pancakes, juice, fruit, cereal, rice) which is good when you are on a budget. Overall, our short stay here as a group of 5 was a good experience (apart from the airport transfer).

The room was clean,staff was attentive even with the language difference,breakfast could have had more options,the room could have been more equipped with towels etc,basic amenities,the area did not seem safe at night time,so i will advise to not take walks at night. Hotel Faranda Soloy in Panama was clean and had helpful staff. However, rooms lacked basic amenities like bottled water and a microwave. The breakfast menu wasn’t suitable for me—rice and beef liver didn’t feel like a good choice. Additionally, the surrounding area felt high-risk, so caution is advised when going out. Overall, decent value with room for improvement.
