Book a hotel near Shipwreck Cove, Duncan

"The staff just seem all unbothered when I pulled up to check in. She was so sweet to the lady in front of me and told her a whole bunch of information about the property when I checked in, she gave me my room number and the Wi-Fi password and told me have a good day. Didn’t go over any rules didn’t go over how to enter an exit the building didn’t ask how my day was didn’t ask while I was traveling. Didn’t check on me throughout the day at all. The breakfast was OK but she didn’t tell me when the breakfast was. It looks like they’re constantly working on the hotel so when you walk in, there’s just a whole bunch of towels all over the lobby area. They have a tiny little closet that they have items available for purchase, but it seems really difficult to maneuver the pool was open until 10, but there was a whole inch sign on the door, making it kind of confusing when you walked in about what the rules were because apparently they have issues with people just entering the pool. It seems like they have guest that stay longer periods of time. There are a lot because they were a lot of people that knew each other and had Bluetooth speakers and were really loud at the pool. It was an OK stay but it was really hard to get to and the road to the hotel off of the freeway is full of potholes from the truck wash overall not really worth the money that they’re asking for but it was OK."

"Home was very clean, beds very comfy and had everything we needed. Only con really was the water pressure, which isn’t really in their control. I would stay here again :) "

"Breakfast was some gravy in a trashbag lined crockpot and some hard mini biskits and waffles. My room had mold (visual) as well as the showe curtian was to short so water would get all on the floor and the sink was broken. The bed was comfy so i gave it 2 stars for that. "

"The house was really nice - looked great, clean and well laid out. The kitchen was well stocked, the host provided treats, there were plenty of additional supplies, the beds were comfortable, and the grill was great. Even our dog had a wonderful stay (the squirrels were rather abundant - don't worry, she never caught one). I would go back WITHOUT hesitation so understand that considering I had 2 concerns: 1. At 6' 2", the shower head covered my shoulders and down; it was rather low (my wife at 5 foot 2 was fine!) and 2. the living room sofa and table chairs could use a little attention - they look fine and are usable but they need some scrutiny.Again, very nice unit and it would be my first choice for rental if/when we are back in the area. I would suggest serious consideration if going to the area."
