Cute apartment in a great location near lots of great cafes and activity. 4 adults stayed and it was comfortable enough. There is just the 2-seater couch plus the dining chairs for seating if you are hanging out. The toilet room is small and tight - would not recommend for anyone tall - our tallest is 5' 10" and she found it a bit challenging. We did not use the kitchen except for the wine glasses and Nespresso machine. The bedrooms could use some extra pillows on the beds and hooks to hang towels so hopefully these can be added. All in all, it was a great place for the price but could just use more comforts of home.
Comfortable apartment in an amazing location, close to dining options, metro and Louvre! Was a perfect stay for our family. We enjoyed exploring Rue Montorgueil. Great coffee and pastries around the corner.
The apartment is a nice apartment. This is y third VRBO in Paris and it was likely the best just from a cleanliness and comfort standpoint. The beds are comfortable and the sofa bed is a great option and also comfy. The kitchen is not ready for cooking but youâre in Paris, you should not be doing more than making coffee and having a croissant. There are not three bathrooms- there are two rooms with showers and sinks and one water closet with a toilet and small sink. Note that the toilet is very high and may be challenging for shorter people or children. The really tough part was the walk up. It is advertised as a 2nd story walk up, it is clearly a 4 story walk up. Up winding steps that are very challenging with luggage. If this listing had been accurate I would not have rented it. It put a damper on the stay and made the return âhomeâ each night something we dreaded. Communication with the property manager was fine until we got there than I never heard any response from them again. I notified VRBO of the inaccuracy of the listing after I let thr property manager know I was dissatisfied with the inaccuracy of the listing and begot a response. They also changed billing systems half way through our contract process and added a different booking system- so were unable to communicate on VRBO. Overall the apartment was fine. Getting to the apartment was not. And communication with the property management company was bad.
First the good part. Pretty Parisian apartment in quieter section of Paris. Near great restaurants, shopping, markets, mass transportation and food markets.
The drivers they offer to and from the airport are well worth the $80 charge.
BUT the communication with the property management company was horrible. There was a 8 to 10 hour delay in any response. The air was not working for an entire day. They finally responded asking when we would be there and I replied but no one ever came. We discovered the breaker had flipped. Worst thing is no lift and the stairs are spiral with lights that flip off when youâre halfway up. Very difficult to get luggage up and down. You literally have to hit light switch on each floor.
Washer/dryer is an all in one that takes five hours to wash and dry one load and it vibrates so bad I thought it was going to tear out a wall. That being said for young couples with backpacks itâs great. Not so much for families or older couples.
This apartment is cozy, clean and quiet. Although this particular block is not especially attractive, it's perfectly safe. More importantly, there's a good patisserie less than 100 steps away; you can be on the great pedestrian blocks of Rue Montorgueil in about 2 minutes' walk; there are multiple Metro stops within about 3 minutes; you can walk to the Louvre in 20 minutes. Moreover, if you don't want to be eating out every meal, there are food stores on Montorgueil and you can easily bring back food to make meals in the kitchen.
This was a great location. Perfect for our family of four. Centrally located and easy to walk to metro. Would definitely recommend staying here and cannot wait to go back.
