The location of this property is amazing, as it's just two blocks from the Louvre. The recently renovated room we were in (38) was excellent, but my cousins and siblings had older rooms that they didn't enjoy so much. The old building has character, but the tiny elevator and authentically old stairs were a pain. In all, if you don't pay a lot, you'll be pleased.

Great location & history bad construction and A/C

Simply charming hotel. The location was so great that we booked another night. Small en suite. Very small lift. No A/C but a table top fan was hung on the wall and with the windows open it was ok. Bad construction noise actress the street. We slept in earplugs because noise at 6:00 am.

a great location.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
It was recomended be two different friends, as a no frill but super location and exelent value. The room was small, but comfortable. We were on the third floor but there is a small lift for one person. Remember in Europe they don't count the ground floor so a second floor room is realy a 3rd. USA floor. I would stay hear again if in Paris, its all about the sites not the room.
