Room was basic and on the small side but clean. I was on the rear side so relatively quiet except I was also by t hr e lift so in the morning it wasn’t so quiet! Staff were very friendly and helpful and due to its near location to Gare du Nord it is a go to hotel for me.

Great location for Gare North and East. There is a local train to the airport from Gare North. Room was clean and great use of space for standard tiny European hotel. Staff was great and there are several cafes near. Also the marche couvert is across the street, as well as a grocery store. My only complaint was that the hallways reeked of smoke.

Just to say the breakfast wasn’t free. We appreciated being able to get access to our room earlier than the stated check-in time. Room on the small side but good for one night’s stay as very convenient for the Gare du Nord.

Well situated between Gare du Nord and Gare de l’est, under 8 min walk to either. Clean, comfortable albeit small (think Tokyo) room with blackout blinds. No closet but 6 hangers for wall pegs. Iron on request as is breakfast for a fee (IIRC 12€.) Perfect for 1. Pleasant, helpful staff. Recommended.

VERY CONVENIENT FOR GARE DU NORD

I stayed here for three nights and it was a short walk from the station. It’s well located for other transport and walking in a busy part of Paris but, once inside, the hotel was quiet. It was a decent price for summer in Europe. I had a strangely shaped room with the bed jutting out diagonally into the room. With no luggage rack, I had no choice but to put my suitcase open on the floor at the base of the bed and my carry-on was open on the wedge of shelf above the bed! There was a wardrobe, fridge, TV, kettle w coffee & tea plus a small espresso machine, however, you only get two pods per stay with extras available for purchase from reception. However, make a quick trip to Aldi across the road and you’ll be set! The ‘work desk’ was a struggle to use as it was wedged in-between the wardrobe and the fridge. I kept scratching my leg on the cabinet of the fridge whenever I sat there, which unfortunately was a lot! The washroom was nice with a good shower, toiletries and towels. The wall-attached hairdryer was powerful. However, there was nowhere to hang the hand-towel to dry, so I draped it over the hairdryer! There is a water dispenser in the lobby with flat and fizzy options. Breakfast is available onsite for a fee.

To start with plus points, it's so handy for Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, The nearest Metro line is the 7 at the Gare de l'Est and goes straight downtown by the Louvre and Isle de la Cite (handy for Notre Dame, Pont Neuf and the Musee d'Orsay). I didn't sample breakfast there. On the negative side, the rooms are quite small but had just enough hanging space for me. Unfortunately there was a small problem, so I was moved to another room at the top floor, which was even smaller, with less storage space for my clothes. The shower stall was so small, I could hardly turn round in it and never managed to work out how to keep water from flooding the bathroom. I'd not want to spend another week there, but I would certainly consider it for a couple of day's break or an overnight before catching the Eurostar.
