Beautifully appointed apartment with everything you need (and more!). Beds very comfortable and it is so quiet in the evening, slept well! Valentine and the young women helping her were very helpful and kind! Location is excellent—this area has it all whether you want beautiful gardens to stroll through, cute cafes for breakfast and cafe creme(and don’t forget the croissants and pan au chocolat!), lovely shops, or charming restaurants. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!

Magical place in a magical location

This is a special apartment within walking distance of so much. You can truly live like a local here. The host is so welcoming and eager to make your stay the best.

Lovely Paris Apartment

I loved this apartment. It is what I imagined it would be behind the big courtyard door. I gave it only 4 stars on a couple of things. It seems like the owners live there which is fine. The issue was there was open food in the cupboards, like nuts in cups that made us wonder how long they had been there etc. The other 4 stars was because there wasn't a notebook with instructions on things in the apartment. We wanted to listen to music on the TV and could get only a picture. I know these seem like silly things to comment on but other VRBOs on our stay had everything written out to the smallest item and it made me realize that was lacking here. But the apartment itself is charming and I would definitely hope to stay here again - I'd love to move in!

Very nice apartment in great location

We stayed in this apartment in early July 2019. It’s in a great neighborhood with everything you need within walking distance, the beautiful Jardins de Luxembourg, St Germain, metro stops, etc. It was pretty hot for July in Paris, but despite the fact that the apartment doesn’t have AC it was very cool inside because of the fact that it’s a stone building. The washer/dryer combo was a great thing to have. My only advice would be to ask the owner for the washer/dryer instruction manual, as it took us a while to figure out how to use it as it’s a european device and we’d never used one like it before. We started out laundry pretty late and didn’t want to bother the owner late at night...she was very helpful though and you can definitely text her and get help when you need it! We really liked a restaurant a couple blocks away called Georgette...exceptional food and a really nice atmosphere. Oh, and there is a mistake in VRBO that may have been corrected already...there are 2 bedrooms, not 3. We LOVED this apartment and would come back! Than you Valentine! 😀

Lovely location

My friends and I had a great stay in this apartment. The location is great, there is plenty of room, and check-in and check-out were simple. It was also nice to be on the courtyard where it was quiet. There is a nice cross-breeze with windows on two sides open. The bathrooms are large and we had plenty of storage space. The only small negative was that there were no instructions - for the TV or the washer, for instance. And even though we didn’t know to expect it, it seems like someone came by every day to straighten up. It was nice to have fresh coffee but it made us feel like we were being checked on a bit. Would’ve been fine if we’d been asked in advance.

Great location, nice apartment

This is clearly someone's lived in and well loved home. They have surrounded their windows with plantings, have family photos discreetly about, and keep their personal items in separate closets. This latter point makes closet space for visitors a little precious, but if willing to share space in the master bedroom's closet two couples can be comfortable. The kitchen lacks a few essentials, like a large frying pan, but in general the tools, utensils and place settings are adequate. All in all, a comfortable, clean, and well-located rental.

Location, comfort, and charm

With its location near the Luxembourg Garden and St. Germain this apartment can’t be beat. My husband and I were very happy here for 3 weeks. There is a lot of charm in a beautiful older building, and it has been renovated very well. The owners do live there when there aren’t renters, and they have a cleaning service that comes regularly. The second bedroom has a sofa bed which might be a concern to some, but it would be perfect for kids. There are steps within the apartment itself, but it is very comfortable, clean, full of light with lots of room and charm.

lovely apartment. well located. Should have mentioned that there is no elevator although it is on the first floor and and a easy climb. Valentine was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. That fact that Denis cleans up every other day is a great plus.
